In the last 2 years, Seattle Pride to me means more Celebs coming to town. In 2010, chatting with Julie Goldman at Pridefest was a highlight as was last year with a full, on camera interview with old pal, Armistead Maupin. This year was no exception, 2 artists from the New York club scene in town at Seattle Pride each performing only 3 miles apart. 2 artists that know and have worked together not to mention respect each other. Gay Rapper, Cazwell (in a Noisy Tent) was just about to start a 30 min. DJ session at the DJ Stage at Pride Fest in Seattle Center.

Meanwhile, Transgendered recording artist, Amanda Lepore was on stage at the Cuff Block party in Capitol Hill. I had only 20 min. to travel, I made it up to Amanda, right after her set, and we spoke in her trailer.

I met Armistead Maupin over 13 years ago when he was featured in a special concert with Seattle Men's Chorus (Still one of the most memorable in SMC'S 30 year History). When you get that call about interviewing one of you childhood Idols, you take it. It all started after seeing the documentary of the Legendary Oscar winning Composer plus TV and Movie star, Paul Williams called "Paul Williams Still Alive" and I reached out to see if the director, Stephen Kessler (Vegas Vacation) was coming to the screening at SIFF. Indeed he was and the subject himself, Williams. I was nervous (I even told him this) about meeting Paul, according to the film he was initially distant about interviews (that was 4 years ago) but now he was was quite friendly and easy to talk to. It was obvious that Filmmaker and subject were closer than ever!

Jerry Carpio (25) and Danny Martinez (23) have been together for for almost 7 years. They  Love each other very much and plan to get married when the time is right.

They have been through many adversities as their families are  not accepting us and "friends" trying to break them apart. They what they want in life, and that is to be together.

Martinez is editor of Rainbow Nightlife.  

In the coming the weeks, they will experience each city (Posing as a Honeymoon couple)  and will share photos from their adventure.

(OUTscene America) EXCLUSIVE: Behind the Scenes of This Week's 'Joan and Melissa"!

Last August, My field producer, Stewart attended Tony Tripoli's show at the celebration theater in LA  and got Exclusive  footage of Tony's Confessional.  Tony told Stewart he was concerned about Lynne, who arrived at the show with Melissa. You see her in the piece trying to hold her wrath!

Joan gives Tony the opportunity to open for her at a stand-up gig in Napa Valley, thinking that if it works out, she just might make him a regular opener for her. When Melissa and fellow comedian Lynne go to scout Tony’s act for Joan, Lynne becomes jealous. She also thinks that Tony’s jokes about Joan’s age and plastic surgery are offensive. Lynne invites Joan to lunch and tells her that Tony is making fun of her. Joan thinks Lynne is acting crazy, but has she succeeded in planting a seed of doubt in Joan? The Plan failed and Joan took Tony's side and had Tony as her opening act in Napa. The highlight was when Tony showed up in Joan's Dressing room in a Thong!

Due to his busy schedule Entertainment Weekly's Dave Karger was unavailable for a phone interview. He did send us his predictions to win the Oscar for the 4th year in a row. For last 3 years he has been 99% accurate, no wonder Karger is known as Mr. Oscar and will be the official Greeter of the Red Carpet for the 2nd straight year!

Glee is one of the biggest shows on FOX TV. Their music is hitting the top of the music charts, they are winning awards and fans are tuning in all over the world to watch.

Tuesday was one of their biggest episodes EVER….the Michael Jackson special.

Take a look at my one-on-one interview with Glee casting director Robert Ulrich. He helped to pick the stars of Glee that you love watching on the show now. He is also a judge on the Oxygen channel’s The Glee Project.

As My West Coast Tour winds down, I had the pleasure yesterday of being at the taping of E's 'Fashion Police'  with Joan Rivers, Kelly Osborne, Giuliana Rancic, and George Kotsiopoulos. Even EP, Melissa Rivers was on  Hand. When I arrived at the E! Studio on Thursday Morning, I ran smack into Kelly Osborne in the Hallway and then welcomed (with a Hug) by OUTscene regular and FP Head writer, Tony Tripoli! The studio was small and only a small audience of guests, associates, crew with the job of Laughing and applauding for Joan. The jokes (written by Tripoli) were so Funny Not even Kelly, George, or Giuliana knew what to expect.

Back in August, I met up with Actor/Director, Casper Andreas in New York for dinner and a Broadway show and had a Fabulous time. Just over 45 days later, I am welcoming Casper back to Seattle for the first time since June 2010.

I chatted with Casper about his latest film, 'Going Down in La La Land', his first film set in LA (Not NY) and how his character takes a dark turn as Porn director turned Meth addict. The role is riveting and the director has assembled a cast of cameos with OUTscene favorites, Bruce Vilanch, Alec Mapa and Jesse Archer.

Back in 2004, The legendary Melissa Manchester performed for Audience of the Seattle Men's Chorus' Holiday Concert. I sat in the front row and met her after the show and hoped for the chance to interview her in the future. Well, the time was now as I heard that Manchester would be making a return to Seattle as a special guest featured in the upcoming film, 'Dirty Girl'. It represents the essence of the legend herself and even makes a cameo in the film.  I had the chance to ask about the film and her emotional feelings about working with such gay icons as Peter Allen.

Fresh from my East Coast Tour I wanted to share my Exclusive Interview with Broadway Star, Nick Adams. Adams, who is known as the 'Bod of Broadway' took some time to speak with me right in front of the Broadway Palace Theater and home to 'Priscilla, queen of the desert, the Musical' in NYC. Nick was wearing a tank to show off his famous BIG Guns and he confessed he wouldn't mind being the 'Broad of Broadway' for as long as the show runs.
