Seattle just recently hosted the 1st and I hope many tryouts of a Broadway Bound Musical. This time was Disney's Aladdin (Which was reviewed last week). This week I had a chance to chat with the star of the show who plays 'Aladdin', Broadway star, Adam Jacobs.  Now that the tryout is over, what's next for the hunky star and the future of the show?

Check out the Full Interview below plus video:

MK: Are you a fan of Film?
Adam: Absolutely, I saw it many times growing up.

MK: How is it working with Jonathan Freeman, the original Jafar?
Adam: Great, Just hearing the same iconic voice and wicked laughter has been a great thrill.

MK: How about James Monroe Inglehart who plays the genie, is it hard playing it straight?
Adam: James is great and Yes, I have had a few close calls of breaking up.

MK: In one scene you and Jasmine (Courtney Reed) on on the Magic Carpet and sour to great heights, Do you ever get nervous?
Adam: I did at first, since I have strapped in Courtney and hold on. But, it is getting better.
MK: What if the show gets to Broadway, and they decide the 'Spiderman' route?
Adam: (Laughs) I don't they will go there, but I wouldn't mind flying over the audience!

MK: You appeared in Disney's Lion King, Do you see 'Aladdin' going the same distance?
Adam: I do!

MK: Now time for my Burning question, In both Aladdin and the Lion King you show off your body, How do you stay in shape?
Adam: (Laughs) The dancing sure helps!

What's next for Adam Jacobs? See him on Broadway this September as he takes over the part of Simba in Disney's The Lion King!
