(FASHION ALERT) Real men wear mangerie!
by Romina Puga
You might be familiar with the floral Japanese male bra that popped up online last week, leaving people confused and amused. You probably said to yourself, “This has to be a joke. This can’t be real.” Well it can, and there’s a market of men who enjoy wearing feminine-looking undergarments, and not because they want to look more like women (sorry ladies).
“There’s no variety in the men’s lingerie sold in department stores. It’s boxers and briefs, and if you’re really daring, maybe a thong!” says Australian male lingerie designer Brent Krause. “There’s no denying department stores sell good quality, functional underwear, and that’s fine for ninety percent of men. But not me.” These mangerie-wearing men like the fabric and feel of nice lingerie and believe it’s time for men to have a chance at feeling sexy in front of the mirror.
If you’re thinking these guys only exist on the other side of the world you’re wrong. Krause's male lingerie company Homme Mystere states that most of their customers come from the United States. Krause says the U.S. makes up about 40 percent of its customer base, with Western Europe and the UK making up another 40 percent. They even send merchandise to Russia and Canada.
“I don’t think the male bra industry is any larger in Japan than anywhere else. Certainly our numbers show the USA and Europe to be about the same in terms of size with Japan quite a distance behind,” says Krause. “In saying that, our wholesale sales are very strong into Japan, which suggests guys are buying our lingerie but prefer to buy from a local store that speaks the language.”
So who are the guys buying this mangerie?

(HEALTH NEWS) How to Quickly Boost Your Testosterone for Increased Performance!
One of the unfortunate realities of life is that as we get older we
lose energy and muscle mass, and our endurance and libido suffer. As a
result, men have searched long and hard for a magic elixir that could
result in everlasting youth.
Until just a few years ago, most scientists considered anti-aging treatments to be little more than snake oil—but today, that's all changed.
There is little doubt that when our body stops manufacturing certain substances, it begins to accelerate all aspects of the aging process. However, if the body were to begin creating these substances again, it could theoretically restore youth.
And the most important of these substances? Testosterone. Click Here for MORE.

HEALTH ALERT: Boys Should Get HPV Shot, Too!
A CDC committee voted overwhelmingly today to recommend the HPV vaccine for boys as well as girls, reasoning that it will protect them from some cancers of the penis and rectum, while also preventing them from transmitting HPV to the people they sleep with. Twelve panel members voted for the recommendation, with one abstaining, CNN reports.
The committee recommends boys get the shot as early as age 9. The vaccine has been FDA approved for males since 2009, but it hasn’t been marketed toward them. The CDC is making this push now in part because not as many girls are being vaccinated as doctors had hoped. “If the boys are also immunized, it reduces the transmission back and forth,” one CDC adviser explained.

UNITED: Quinto says reaction to his coming out has been “supportive”!
In an interview earlier today with MTV News in support of his new movie Margin Call, the
Quinto said the reaction to his coming out has “been enormously supportive — universally, unanimously supportive.”
He added: “I’m really grateful for that.”
Zachary, best known for his role on Heroes and as Spock in the Star Trek movie, expressed well-deserved pride in the way he decided to share this news with the public.
“I feel like I made that declaration so that I can be a part of this conversation moving forward,” he said “I did it in my own time, on my own terms, in my own words. That’s exactly the way that I wanted to do it, and I’m really proud of that. When the time is right to continue the conversation forward, I certainly will do that. That’s why I took those steps in the first place.”

OPTIONAL: Skip Prostate Screening (Only if your Doctor is Un-Attractve)!
A potentially big change in men's health care: A governmental health panel is about to recommend that men stop getting screened for prostate cancer, reports CNN. The Preventative Services Task Force has concluded that the commonly used PSA blood test often does more harm than good because it leads to invasive treatments with nasty side effects, adds the New York Times.
The report is to be formally unveiled on Tuesday, followed by a period of public comment. Researchers based their recommendation on five clinical trials. They concluded that the PSA screening, sometimes accompanied by a digital rectal exam, results in "small or no reduction" in deaths. The test does indeed detect antibodies, but the cancer usually spreads so slowly that it's better to let it go rather than subject men to treatments whose side effects include impotence and incontinence, according to the report.
