What do like about Living in California? What I like the best about California is my friends and happy people; the weather, with such amazing weather in LA feels like living in Paradise not too hot and humid and not too cold, can be eating outside in the patio everyday!!; love that we have everything close by. I can be in the beaches in minutes, scape to Palm Springs for a desert sunny getaway, go to the mountains like Lake Tahoe for a ski weekend, last minute fly to Vegas for a crazy weekend.

Any Hobbies? Everything that involves enjoying life and discover new things. I think life is to short to enjoy everything is in this world and everyday I am amazed with so much beauty. I love TRAVELING to different places be meeting new people and making friends. I love spending time with my friends and people I love. I enjoy trying new restaurants, going to the movies, a night dancing but also a relaxing laying by the pool and having a quiet time. Having coffee w friends and catching up in our adventures. Having mimosas on Sunday mornings. I love being active and taking care of myself go to the gym about 5 times a week and eat healthy. Also like hiking, usually go to Runyon Cannon in Hollywood.

... None Hahahaha... Well when I sleep cause I like to sleep naked but I actually use both I love cute underwear so it depends on the day and what I am wearing. Most of the times tho I find myself wearing briefs... Maybe because it shows more skin also accentuate my assets LOL!

What is your Dream Date? My dream date could be doing anything from a walk and grabbing ice cream on the park, going to the movies and eating Popcorn w Peanuts M&Ms and drinking diet coke, traveling to another city and exploring it and going to nice restaurants, etc as long as it's with that special person. Maybe because I was raised in a very conservative and religious family the idea of "speed dating" doesn't go with me. If he is dating other guys I loose complete interest... Like the song "I want you to make me feel like I'm the only girl in the world" hehehe except I don't wanna be a girl I'm happy as a boy.

Now that California (and Washington) have marriage Equality, will you make it Legal eventually? Yes, I believe that if two people love each other they should have the right to get married if they want too. I would like to get married with the right guy when we find each other and live happily ever after.

(OUTscene AMERICA) Hunky Rib Hillis wants your help in getting his film “Birthday Cake” served up in RedBox and Netflix!

Last fall, I had the pleasure of attending Birthday cake at SLGFF and was by far the Best.

It is a sequel to a short film called Groom Cake that I saw at the Palm Springs gay & lesbian fest which told the story of the three days leading up to two guys getting married – they are played by writer-director Chad Darnell and Rib Hillis who is the naked guy in the photo that got our attention!
The feature film covers the three days leading up to the first birthday party for the baby they have adopted and adds to the cast such well-known names as Helen Shaver, Lee Meriwether, and Helen Shaver. Peter Paige appears in both films.

Like all indie films, the key is distribution. In May, Birthday Cake will be distributed through Ariztical Entertainment and available on mulitple platforms of Video On Demand, Video Download and DVD.

But the filmmakers we want to get the movie into Red Box.

Red Box traditionally does not stock LGBT genre films but did stock the documentary Bridegroom which did well.

Turns out that twinky young man hanging out in front of Joe Simpson’s camera lens on South Beach last week actually is Joe Simpson’s modeling client.

The 55-year-old father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson was once again the source of his own gay rumors last week, when he conducted a shameless public photoshoot with the sandy 21-year-old Scottish hunk. But according to this tweet and Simpson’s company website, that man is Jonathan Keith, an actual modeling client of Simpson’s.

It's a shame so many viewers have seemingly abandoned Looking just when the series is finding its footing. Tonight's episode, "Looking For the Future," was easily the show's strongest yet, and an excellent showcase of Looking's potential.

Perhaps related, it's also the episode closest in style to Andrew Haigh's Weekend. "Looking For the Future" may draw similar comparisons to Before Sunrise, as it followed Patrick (Jonathan Groff) and Richie (Raúl Castillo) on a daylong, romantic get-to-know-you throughout the city. The result was 30 incredibly intimate minutes that invited viewers to get to know these characters a lot deeper.

Almost exactly 1,000 people decided on a particularly perfect day to jump into the water, thwack and be thwacked, gulp seawater, undulate with the rolling tides and compete in a 2km ocean swim race. I was one of them! And maybe it was just me gulping seawater...

 

I'm in there somewhere – the third heat breaking the surf. Results-wise, I placed #437, so in the top half. Looking to improve the next race... if my party schedule allows time to train for it!

 

I survived!

It doesn’t take a genius to understand why the entire world drops everything to tune into the Olympic Games every two years. Aside from being Earth’s oldest international sporting event, the Summer and Winter Olympic Games are routinely celebrated as a gathering of the world’s finest athletes, a display of their hardened bodies, and an introduction to the athletic crushes we’ll be gushing over for the next four years.

Summer Olympians are more prone to flashing skin, what with their barely-there swim trunks and all (obligatory Tom Daley link), but that doesn’t mean their Winter Olympic counterparts aren’t just as steamy when they strip out of that restrictive winter gear.

('Looking' Back): Episode 4, 'Looking For $220/Hour'!

We're now halfway through the first season of HBO's Looking. Sunday's episode "Looking For $220/Hour" introduced some soapier elements and (finally) some real conflict for our leads. It's the best writing we've seen on the show yet, and, if the back half of the season continues the momentum, it could salvage the show and keep me interested in a second season.

Four episodes deep may not be the best time to start getting interesting, but I'm glad to see the show's principle stories finally picking up some steam.

For many viewers, it may just be too little, too late. That's a shame, because I think tonight's episode finally struck the right balance between the show's much-touted realism (some might call it "overly-touted") and some really nice storytelling. (Plus Groff finally went Shirtless)!

Lucas is Ryan Carnes, best known previously for Desperate Housewives and the first Eating Out movie, is no longer blond and he gets to show some real acting chops. He. Is. Terrific.

His scenes with his adoptive mom and his bio dad are powerful and he’s so sexy in his scenes with Parry Shen (Brad). Brad is finding himself torn between newcomer Lucas and Felix, a man he’s had feelings for a long time. Felix is played by the terrific Marc Samuel who guest stars on Leon Acord's Old Dogs & New Tricks.

OVTV: (SHOWcase) 'The Queen', a 1968 Documentary About the Early Days of Drag: FULL VIDEO!

A full-length version of The Queen, a 1968 documentary about the early days of drag has appeared on YouTube in full:

The Queen was filmed in NYC in 1967 and released in theaters in 1968.

 

In 1967 it was illegal for men to dress as women. The documentary follows a 1967 Drag pageant judged by Andy Warhol among others. It stars Jack Doroshow aka Flawless Mother Sabrina, Richard Finochio aka Rachel Harlow and Crystal LaBeija. Crystal went on to start The House of LaBeija pageants which was the premise of the 90's documentary "Paris is Burning."

 

In 1972 Richard Finochio underwent sex reassignment surgery to become Rachel Harlow, she began dating John B. Kelly, Grace Kelly's brother. The relationship ended when John's mother said she would disinherit him if he married Rachel. Rachel opened the Philadelphia night club "Harlow's" in the 1970's. The only person to surface since this classic film was made is Jack Doroshow when he was interviewed by James St. James on youtube.

 

International Chrysis (1951-1990) can be seen as a teenage boy rehearsing dance numbers. These are the Queens who opened the doors for RuPaul and RuPaul's Drag Race of today.

(OUT GOSSIP) Shawn Pyfrom (Andrew on “Desperate Housewives,") comes OUT..... as drug addict!

For eight years, Shawn Pyfrom played the gay character of Andrew Van de Kamp on the ABC hit Desperate Housewives.

He played rebellious teen in the show’s early seasons then in the final season, dealt with a drinking problem.

Shawn, 27, is now revealing that off-screen has battled an addiction to drugs and alcohol as well.
‘I can’t stay quiet anymore about this,’ the actor wrote in a blog post. ‘I am an alcoholic and a drug addict.’

Shawn confesses that ‘for several years, I lived for drugs … I didn’t even realize how low drugs and alcohol had pulled me.’

He decided to go public following the death of Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman on Sunday. It is believed Hoffman likely died from a drug overdose.
