Unfortunately, Our Pal, Laverne Cox, did not make it to our section of the Red Carpet at this year's GLAAD Media awards. The now A-List,  Cox was in the midst of Speaking Tour of College campuses. Los Angeles, Saturday, April 12, 2014 - GLAAD Media Award recipients were announced in 12 of this year's 29 media categories at the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, presented nationally by Ketel One Vodka, Wells Fargo, and Hilton Worldwide, and locally by Delta Air Lines and Bud Light, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Following is a complete list of GLAAD Media Awards presented on stage, and the individuals that accepted the awards.

(GLAAD 2014) And the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards nominees are...!

Today GLAAD announced the nominees for the 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, recognizing powerful and important media stories from 2013 - an historic year for LGBT equality. The GLAAD Media Awards honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.  The GLAAD Media Awards also fund GLAAD's work to amplify stories from the LGBT community and issues that build support for equality.

Nominated in the Outstanding Film - Wide Release category are the Oscar-nominated Philomena, Blue Is the Warmest Color, Dallas Buyers Club, Kill Your Darlings, and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (with the relationship between gay characters Alec and Magnus which will continue in the sequel).

Outstanding Film - Limited Release nominees include Concussion, Geography Club, Out in the Dark, Reaching for the Moon, and Yossi, a sequel to the GLAAD Media Award-winning film Yossi & Jagger (2003).
