(DWTS All-Stars) Finale: Melissa & Tony Crowned Champs!

Courtesy/ABC
After performing one last dance routine in the Insta-dance round, the three finalists for the Mirror Ball Trophy gave their all as the season 15 season champs were crowned tonight on the finale of Dancing with the Stars All-Stars.

General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy performed the jive which was fun, bouncy, and sexy all at the same time.  After their final performance, judge Carrie Ann Inaba said of Kelly and Val, “They’ve won our hearts.”  Kelly and Val scored a 28,5 for their last dance.  However, just before receiving their scores, leave it to DWTS All-Stars co-host, Brooke Burke-Charvet to once again try to get the scoop on what exactly is going on between Kelly and Val, whose chemistry is undeniable.  Kelly revealed, “Listen, I hope everybody can have friendships like this. This is the foundation of an amazing friendship.”  “It’s unconditional love,” Val adds,  “It doesn’t have to be boyfriend and girlfriend.”

(DWTS) Who was 'BAD' for 'BAD' Week?

After the shocker of Gilles Marini being eliminated last week, I had to admit I was a little depressed going into Week 9 of “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars.” I had never imagined an All-Stars finale without the sexy French actor and his charming fractured English!

But it was time to move on, and Week 9 promised the five remaining celebrities dancing in tribute to the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s “Bad.” Great bit of cross promotion here, as ABC plans on airing an MJ special on Thanksgiving.

Here was what happened on the All-Stars semifinal:

(DWTS) Results: Alley's Past catches up and a Shocking Exit!

The “Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” Monday night performance show was chaotic, to say the least, with a rare technical glitch and trio dances that were way too bizarre for my taste. But after the dust settled, there was no escaping the fact that on Tuesday, TWO of our stars and their partners would be eliminated. I decided the couples with the lowest cumulative scores over the past two weeks–Kirstie Alley and Kelly Monaco. I was half right.

Now it was time for the first elimination. It was Kirstie vs. Kelly. Tom said Kirstie would be leaving (Most likely her confession about an 'affair' with Travolta, stroke a nerve as a 'Homewrecker' or to squash the Gay rumors)! So, I was right, at least, on the first star being sent home. Kirstie said, “the second time around was special to me. I learned more about dancing. I just love dancing. I want to thank our fans.” Kirstie blew kisses to the audience and she and Maks were surrounded by all their “DWTS” pals, wishing them well.

But, no! The All-Star going home was….Gilles! His wife was devastated in the audience. Gilles said it was an incredible experience and Peta was his angel. He also thanked his wife, what a class act. I was stunned because Gilles and Peta had such amazing chemistry and she was defending pro champ.

Next week, the remaining stars will perform to the music of Michael Jackson, but without his huge fan, actor Gilles.

(DWTS LUST) Maks and Sasha!

Maksim (Maks) Chmerkovskiy,32,  is a Ukrainian Latin Ballroom dance champion, choreographer, and instructor. He is best known as one of the professional dancers on the American television series Dancing with the Stars, on which he first appeared in season two. In his twelve appearances on the show, Chmerkovskiy has made it to the final round four times, with two runner-up and two third place finishes.

('DWTS’) Threesomes Spice Up the Dance Floor and Go Shirtless!

“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” was entering the home stretch on Monday, with week 8′s plans calling for each couple to perform two full dances for the first time. There would be individual dances honoring Veteran’s Day plus a trio dance in which each pair would bring in another pro dancer for their routine. And yes, season 13 “DWTS” champ J.R. Martinez would be in the house to proudly represent the vets.

The show opened with a major technical glitch — for the first few minutes, we saw the stars from afar before producers zoomed in for a Tom Bergeron quip about a spaceship landing. Not sure what the East Coast saw! Anyway, I never saw anything on “DWTS” like that before! But power was restored and here was what transpired on week 8:

(DWTS LUST) The GAY Pro: Louis van Amstel!

Louis van Amstel , 40, is a Dutch-American ballroom dance champion, professional dancer, and choreographer who appears on the U.S. reality television series Dancing with the Stars. He is also the only Pro, who is Openly Gay.

In season 15, Van Amstel is paired with former contestant, Sabrina Bryan. In the sixth week of the competition, the pair scored the first perfect 30 of the season. This is also Louis's first perfect score after nine seasons on Dancing with the Stars. SPOILER: the couple made it to the sixth week, but were eliminated, despite being at the top of the leaderboard, resulting in an eighth place finish. This was also the same week that Bryan was shockingly eliminated in her original season.

(DWTS RESULTS) THANK GOD, Bristol Will Not Win Dancing!

Bristol Palin got the boot from Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars last night—even though she and partner Mark Ballas actually did not get the lowest score of the week, for the first time in the entire competition. That slot went to Kirstie Alley and partner Maks Chmerkovskiy, the Hufington Post reports, but the audience still voted Palin out. "I had an awesome time and an awesome partner and I wish everyone the best of luck," Palin said before leaving the stage—but once backstage, she refused to talk to press, which was a little odd, E! notes.

Ballas explained that she was "preparing for the schedule that lays ahead," which may have meant their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live (in which Palin asked Kimmel to apologize for all his jokes about her mother). Ballas also said he was "really proud" of his partner. "For someone like that with zero entertainment experience, she didn't go down without a fight," he said, adding that she was "more vocal about what she wants" since her first appearance on the show. One thing she didn't want: matching bunny costumes for this week's dance, People reports. Ballas gave up on the costume idea, but after the elimination he bemoaned Bristol not being more "open-minded" and willing to step "out of the box."

(‘DWTS: All-Stars’) Which 2 HUNKS left the Ballroom? (The Witch stays)

Bristol Palin continued her incredible “Dancing with the Stars” success on Tuesday night as she stayed on the All-Stars with the lowest score while two former champions — Drew Lachey and Helio Castroneves — were eliminated.

The shocking Teflon power of Sarah Palin’s daughter was the elephant in the ballroom after the “DWTS” results show. It was something no one would talk about, but it was still there. While Drew and partner Anna Trebunskaya scored a 24 for their cha cha and Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower 25.5 for their quickstep, Bristol and pro Mark Ballas only received 22.5 for their paso doble. They were scored dead last for the second straight week. And yet, when Tuesday night was over, Bristol was the one still standing. Kirstie Alley should have left too, she isn't a Top Contender. Drew I knew would go because he have gotten middle of the road scores, but Helio was a shock, but I almost predicted the Race Car champ to go but was hoping the Palin Nightmare would be over.

(DWTS HUNKS) Classic Mark Ballas!

This is Pro Dancer, Mark Ballas in the good ol' days, Before he Shaved his head, started getting lots of Tattoos and Dancing with Bristol Palin.

‘(DWTS): All-Stars’ Recap: Two Tied for the Lead!

This week, “Dancing with the Stars” was trotting out what looked like a sure-fire concept—the remaining 11 celebrities and their partners would recreate iconic dances from past seasons of the show. Plus, the stars themselves would act as the creative directors for the routines instead of the pros. Tonight 2 are OUT.

(DWTS) 'Diva' Pam Anderson Booted!

If you were hoping Bristol Palin would get knocked out of the running ASAP during Dancing With the Stars' All Stars … well, sorry. Pamela Anderson was the first to get the boot, leaving last night after the show premiered Monday, Celebuzz reports. The crew is probably quite happy to see her go: TMZ reports that she was a bit of a diva on set, demanding her trailer be filled with Beyond coconut water, which must be imported from Australia.

The other diva? Kirstie Alley, who refuses to eat that crap that craft services provides because she is on a strict, custom-designed diet called Organic Liaison that is brought in for her each day, sources claim. As for the newly slimmed-down Bristol—yes, somehow she made it back on the show while Nancy Grace and her boobs did not, which just proves the world is an unfair place—she wants you to know she doesn't care how badly you want her to fail. In fact, "if I ever hear anything that's being said negatively about me or my family, that has given me motivation to want to do better," she tells People. So there!

(DWTS): Emmitt Smith Leads All-Stars Top Five!

“Dancing with the Stars” Season 15 is the long-awaited “All-Stars” edition and Monday night, the hit ABC reality show didn’t disappoint. Almost all of the All-Star celebrities turned in polished performances in the battle for the ultimate mirror ball trophy.

But even with the embarrassment of riches in the ballroom, some stood out, as gridiron great Emmitt Smith and actor Gilles Marini ranked first and second after their premiere dances. Not far behind were “Cheetah Girl” Sabrina Bryan, who scored third, and Olympians Shawn Johnson and Apolo Anton Ohno, who tied for fourth.

Kelly Monaco was Incredible.  It has been 7 years and she is better.

Who Going? Pam Anderson was the Worst so she is leaving tonight, Bristol will go next week.

(MK SCOTT) CLASSIC: Comparing Mitt to Donnie and Marie!

FROM NOVEMBER 23, 2007:

by MK Scott

Osmond mania is back! Who knew that ET/The Insider would be giving just as much coverage to the Osmonds as they have on Paris/Lindsey/Anna Nicole/Brittany? With Marie now in the finals on Dancing With the Stars, Donny turning 50, the Osmond Brothers celebrating their 50th anniversary, Marie fainting on live TV, the passing of Pa George, Marie's 16-year-old son in rehab, and over 120 Osmonds on Oprah, there is no denying the wall-to-wall Osmonds media firestorm. Also, don't forget to purchase Marie's doll collection, the Donny & Marie volume 1 DVD, and, of course, Marie's new holiday CD.

(DWTS) RESULTS: Double Elimination Boots Melissa Gilbert on Her Birthday!

Little House on the Prairie” star Melissa Gilbert got sent home Tuesday night after an amazing underdog run on “Dancing with the Stars.” And although she got the boot on her 48th birthday, Melissa treated reporters to her quirky good humor backstage after the show.

“Every day above ground is a good day,” she said. “I’m okay. I did things that I never thought I’d ever do in my life.

“It’s my birthday, man. I have dinner plans. I have a place to go with my family and my really, really dear friends, including this one,” she said of her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. “My boyfriend [Thierry Gauchet] is in Paris waiting for me anxiously to arrive a few days after the [DWTS] finale.”

(DWTS LUST) SPOTLIGHT on New Pro: Henry Byalikov!

During last night's Threesome Dance, Henry Byalikov caught my eye because was shirtless and dancing with (Shirtless) Derek and Maria. I hope we see more of him.

(DWTS) RECAP: Threesomes Get HOT!

For the first time ever, “Dancing with the Stars” was going to try threesomes! But no, it wasn’t as kinky as it sounded. It meant that for Week 8, the pairs were allowed to have one pro dancer who had already been eliminated– or a troupe dancer– join them on the floor for their second dance. The idea seemed crazy, but I was looking forward to some welcome chaos. This week would also feature a double elimination on Tuesday, so everyone would be under a lot of pressure. Whew.

The usual parade of stars down the stairs began the show, with them all moving slowly in the stiffness of week 8. They were all walking gingerly, perhaps requiring canes!
