(SOAP Q) GAY 'Days'; Sami blows her chance to get closer to her son Will!

 

Will’s walls begin to come down and through some tears he tells Sami: “I am kind of messed up..,I’m confused. I have these feelings that I can’t get rid of. Basically my life kind of sucks right now.”

As his mothers grabs his hand, Will tells her that he feels like he’s in one of those dreams where you are driving going down a steep hill and brakes give out.

Sami is making progress but then she slips back into self-absorption and Will immediately senses the shift. He pulls away.

Later, Sami Calls Will's Dad, Lucas for Help.

Will just looks so sad at the end of the episode, you just wanna give the poor kid a hug.

Here are Will’s scenes from Monday and Tuesday’s episodes of Days of Our Lives.

These are not episodes where Will is getting any closer to dealing with his sexuality because he is smack-dab in the middle of drama involving his mom Sami, current stepdad Rafe and former stepdad EJ.

In the first batch of scenes, Will and his grandpa have a talk about Sonny’s coffee house business and Will’s grandpa is afraid there might be trouble because Sonny is gay and will have some gay clientele.

This being a soap, I think we can see this as some obvious foreshadowing of some anti-gay folks causing trouble at Sonny’s new business.

You didn’t expect it to go all smoothly did ya?

(SOAP Q) GAY 'Days'; Will incredulous that his cheating mom kicked Rafe out for kissing her sister!

 

This classic line from Friday’s episode of Days of Our Lives is Will Horton saying to  Sami: “Mom, you slept with the devil!”

Another great line is when Sami asks Will to lower his voice so his younger siblings can’t hear, Will says: “You don’t want them to know their mom’s a lying slut?”

(SOAP Q) GAY 'Days'; Will gets own bachelor pad and has it out with his mom over her infidelity!

 

These episodes of Days of Our Lives are real doozies for our Will Horton.

He finally has it out with his mom Sami and tells her he saw her having sex with E.J.

Will does not hold back calling Sami and “whore” and telling her he hates her.

Their confrontation takes place as Will has packed his bags and prepares to move in to the bachelor pad EJ has arranged for him.

It’s all pretty dramatic.
 
It’s a real tour de force for actor Chandler Massey who is a revelation in these scenes.

And at the end, he decides to go to a party with two of Sonny’s gay friends saying: “I’m finally free.”

KISS OFF: Gay Groups Face Off Against Dallas Mayor Over Pledge to Support Marriage Equality!

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings was not among the dozens of American mayors who signed the 'Mayors for the Freedom to Marry' endorsement of marriage equality last week, and the LGBT community in Dallas is not happy about it, WFAA reports: The gay groups say they're organizing a 7:00 p.m. protest of Rawlings' refusal to sign a pledge to fight for gay marriage. And Rawlings says although he'll meet with them, he's not backing down.

After being in Washington last week, Rawlings led the city council meeting again, determined to stick to city business. "[W]e were getting off track and dealing with some partisan politics, some issues that I don't think are relevant to the lion's share of the citizens of Dallas, so chose not to do it," Rawlings said.

CHANGE OF HABIT: Gay Former RNC Chair Ken Mehlman to Lobby NH Lawmakers Against Marriage Equality Repeal!

Former RNC Chair Ken Mehlman has published an op-ed in New Hampshire's Union Leader saying that he is in the state this week lobbying legislators to reject a bill that would repeal the state's marriage equality law, and that the state's motto 'Live Free or Die' applies to marriage equality.
Writes Mehlman:

Allowing New Hampshire citizens to marry the person they love isn’t just consistent with maximizing freedom. It also promotes responsibility, commitment and stability; it promotes family values. Again, our history provides a good road map: One of our party’s finest hours was the passage of welfare reform because it strengthened families and promoted marriage. Why would we want to take away this right from anyone?

New Hampshire’s civil marriage law protects religious freedom. No religious institution has to perform or recognize same-sex marriages. This is important because different religious traditions have different views on this question.

But despite these differences, so many of our faiths and traditions are rooted in the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would want done to you. Isn’t allowing adults to marry the person they love consistent with the Golden Rule? If you were born gay (as I was), how would you feel if your state government took away this basic civil right that is available to all of your neighbors? How would you feel if you were a young person and were told by your state that the loving and stabilizing relationship you see in your mom and dad would never be available to you?

(SOAP Q) GAY 'Days': Will EJ seduce Will to get more trust, and will Will actually go all the way?

As Will is getting sucked into the world of former step daddy E.J. The two really have a wonderful chemistry and the scenes have a nice comic touch at times (remember Will is being Blackmailed, but loves the attention he is getting from EJ). Is Will starting to enjoy his work? I would love see EJ (a la, Adam to Rafe on Y & R) seduce Will and get even deeper into the Evil. As we can see from the clip Will is sexually attracted to his former step-father. EJ is totally capable of seducing Will and still come out looking straight! This certainly didn't hurt Adam, even Sharon isn't put off by Adam's seduction of Rafe! This is Gettin' Good!

LIKE A VIRGIN: Tim Gunn hasn't Had Sex in 29 Years!

The Revolution co-host Tim Gunn got personal yesterday—really personal. During a routine discussion on jumpstarting your sex life, the popular Project Runway mentor revealed, "I haven't had sex in 29 years. Do I feel like less of a person for it? No! Not even remotely!" (Gunn is 58, so that's half his life.) He explained that his dry spell started after a "very intense," long-term relationship that ended when his partner said he was "impatient with my sexual performance." Watch the video for more.

Comparing her to Abraham Lincoln's assassin, pastor Ken Hutcherson, who was recently appointed to lead the charge against Washington state's marriage equality bill, used graphic and violent terms to frame Governor Chris Gregoire's decision to pursue equality there. 

"She might as well change her name to John Wilkes Booth because what she’s doing now is trying to put a bullet in the head of one of the greatest traditions that has ever existed and has built our society, and that is marriage between one man and one woman."
