Here's something that may get you science and weather geeks excited. NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center has just released a time-lapse that uses ocean flow data during the period from June 2005 through December 2007 to create an artfu visualization of surface currents on the Earth's water areas.

SUPER HOT: France's Beefy Eurovision 2012 Finalist from Anggun!

Dance music aficionados may recall Anggun's 1997 breakout track "Snow on the Sahara". Anggun this year offers the official entry (and automatic finalist) for France (and also the hunkiest thus far) in the Eurovision Song 
Contest, held at the end of May in Azerbaijan.


43 countries will take part in the event, which will draw more than 600 million viewers.

(SHOWCASE) Closeted High School Jock Faces Outing in 'Man in the Mirror'!

Man in the Mirror is a gay-themed short entry in the PBS Online Film Festival, which runs from February 27 - March 30.



Treviny Marie Colon, who hails from the Bronx, New York, wrote Man in the Mirror while she was a senior at The High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan, after her school counselor introduced her to the “What’s The REAL DEAL about Masculinity?” curriculum and writing contest. 

Through the Scenarios USA youth filmmaking program her project was made and directed by renowned director Joel Schumacher, known for such films as St. Elmo’s Fire, Batman Forever and A Time to Kill.

BONDED: Footballers Share French Kiss on the Field!

A goal celebration kiss between two French footballers at the Weserstadion in Bremen, Germany is making some headlines in Europe.

The Local reports: Mathieu Debuchy, a midfielder with Lille, passed the ball to Montpellier player Olivier Giroud, who scored. Debuchy then ran to Giroud who grabbed his head with both hands and kissed his teammate. The video clip of the embrace was played repeatedly on news shows and shared online.

#Debuchy was still a trending Twitter tag on Thursday morning

The goal was Giroud's first for his national team. He is currently the top scorer this year in France's leading football league, Ligue 1.
