New Plastic Surgery Trend: The 'Pippa Butt Lift'!

Forget Kim Kardashian's butt: This year, it's all about Pippa Middleton's rear. "The latest craze here in the US and all over the world is to get the Pippa Butt Lift," a Miami plastic surgeon tells the Telegraph, declaring Pippa the "new queen of booty." The craze started, of course, after the royal wedding when Pippa's butt gained its own following. 

The surgeon explains that while the derrieres of Kardashian and others like Jennifer Lopez have also become famous, they are "a bit too big" for many women. Pippa's behind, on the other hand, is just right. But that perfect butt may not even be real: Jezebel notes that the recent TLC special Crazy for Pippa included experts hypothesizing that her bottom is normally much more flat, and was padded for the wedding. Not that that will stop those seeking plastic surgery: Turns out Pippa's nose is also quite popular, and then there are those who just want the whole "Pippa Body," says a Beverly Hills surgeon.

Now all we need is to get James'.....!

AP) Hollywood royalty mingled with the real thing as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent a sun-splashed day on the polo fields of Santa Barbara County followed by a diamond-studded night amid movie glitterati at the midpoint of their tour of California. Prince William wowed the crowd with four goals at his charity polo match then he and the former Kate Middleton headed by helicopter to downtown Los Angeles for a black-tie film industry event that drew Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, Barbra Streisand, Jack Black, and Jennifer Lopez, among many others.

DI at 50: Newsweek's Doctored Di Cover 'Creepy,' 'Crude' or 'Fascinating'?

Not exactly what you'd expect from the pre-Tina Brown Newsweek: A Photoshopped Princess Diana strolls on the cover with daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, as the magazine imagines what Di would be like today, at age 50. (Brown, a  Friend of Di's, speculates that she'd still be "great-looking," with the help of some Botox, would have had at least two re-marriages, and would, of course, have 10 million Twitter followers.) Not surprisingly, reaction to the doctored cover has not been great. Some headlines:

Brits Celebrate Queen's 85th Birthday

Another British occasion, another display of crazy hats: London today rolled out the redcoats and bear-skin hats to fete Queen Elizabeth's 85th birthday—even though it's not her 85th birthday. The annual Trooping the Color ceremony, which dates from 1748, is held on a Saturday in June, when the weather is ostensibly better than the queen's real birthday, April 21. Catherine, the royal clan's newest duchess, nevertheless warded off the chill with a tartan blanket, notes the AP, whilst Prince William rode in the parade in the same Irish Guards uniform in which he married her. 

The queen uses her official birthday to bestow honors. Among today's 965 recipients was British actor Colin Firth, of The King's Speech, who was named a Commander of the British Empire.

Obamas Meet William and Kate and Share the Wedding Bed!

The Obamas were grandly received at Buckingham Palace today, greeted by a 41-gun salute as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip welcomed them to London. Earlier in the day, the president and first lady had a chance to meet with Prince Charles and wife Camilla, as well as newlyweds Prince William and wife Kate—and the Obamas are even staying in the same suite Wills and Kate used on their wedding night. According to the AP, royal watchers say the queen took a liking to the Obamas after their 2009 visit, during which the first lady famously touched the royal back.

Maybe Princess Beatrice's royal hat is more your 'Drag' style. She plans to auction it on eBay for charity, Sarah Ferguson told Oprah yesterday, notes People. No word yet on when it will be appear, but considering it has its own Facebook page with 136,000 followers, bidding could be steep.

The duchess of Cambridge's furious family has managed to convince a US photo agency to stop selling saucy pics of Brit royal sibs Pippa and James Middleton, reports the Telegraph. The snaps show Pippa, 27, dancing in her bra, and a nudish James, 23, hamming it up for the camera. Family members believe the photos were taken by pals and sold for a bundle as relatives get a crash course on what it means to be in the limelight. "The whole family is furious at what they see as a betrayal," says a friend of the Middletons.

GONE: After Ritzy Honeymoon, Wills, Kate to Split for Months!

Kate and Wills may be planning to jet off on a 10-day honeymoon in a $6,600-per-night villa on an island in the Indian Ocean later this month, but that will soon be followed by a rough 10-week separation, as the Duke of Cambridge has been assigned to head to the Falkland Isles for more helicopter training, reports the Daily Mail. "Kate was very upset when she first heard," said an anonymous source. "William could probably pull some strings and get out of going. But he is determined to be treated like any other search and rescue pilot."


The training on the Sea King helicopter will allow William to upgrade from a co-pilot to a full pilot, a promotion he is reportedly determined to get. Despite William's status, he was only given a week off of work for his wedding, and must return to work before taking his honeymoon, as he is subject to RAF vacation policy just like his colleagues. The royal couple will fly by private jet and helicopter to a remote resort (no word on which island it's on) that contains a small number of private, luxury villas that come staffed by a butler and personal chef.

The Google search engine is auto-suggesting “James Middleton gay” following a surge in searches on the brother of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, reports Digital Journal.

At the wedding, James Middleton, 23, gave a Bible reading during the marriage ceremony in Westminster Abbey of HRH Prince William of Wales and Miss Kate Middleton.

Pink News reports that within seconds of him beginning to speak, "hundreds of people asked on Twitter and other social media networks if he is gay [though] there is no evidence to suggest that he is". (Keep reading)

Subsequently, Pink News says, Googling “James Middleton" leads the search engine to auto-suggest the term “James Middleton gay”, as "Google’s suggested terms are driven by the volume of people querying a particular term as opposed to an algorithm or editorial involvement by the company."

Just because he's royalty doesn't mean Prince William wants to be left out of the viral wedding video craze. AdWeek points to a new ad from T-Mobile imagining a royal wedding complete with Wills, bride-to-be Kate Middleton, Charles and Camila, the Queen, Prince Harry, and a variety of very sophisticated-looking pals boogieing down the aisle.

ROYAL: Prince Harry Promoted to Captain!

Prince Harry? That’s Captain Prince Harry to you. The prince was promoted to his new rank in the British army after completing five years of service, the BBC reports. Harry, who trains as an Apache helicopter pilot, became the first royal in more than 25 years to serve in a war zone when he did a 10-week tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2007-08.

So What's It Like to Spend the Night in a Tent with Prince Harry?

As you may know, Prince Harry is raising awareness about wounded soldiers this week by joining them on the first part of a trek to the North Pole as part of Walking with the Wounded.

That said, the media is curious about every aspect of the trip. Upon his appearance from the tent in the morning, reporters asked Harry what it was like to spend all night in a tent in -25C degree weather.

Joked Harry: "Is that all it was, minus 25? Felt a lot colder than that, in there. It was good. There were things that happened in that tent that I don't want to speak of ever again."

Harry's expedition leader and tentmate, Inge Solheim, added: "He has this cozy little 'Mmmmmm'. Little bass going. It's not snoring. It's more like a little bass going in the background. It put me to sleep."

Prince William Parties at Secret Bachelor Bash!

The palace confirms that Prince William had his bachelor party (or, as the Brits call it, his "stag do") this weekend, but anyone who expected him to go wildly cavorting around London's nightclubs is about to be disappointed. Wills is believed to have spent the weekend at a friend's country estate. The private party was attended by about 20 close friends, all of whom were sworn to secrecy regarding the details of what went on, the Telegraph reports.

Even so, with Prince Harry and nightclub owner-slash-famous partier Guy Pelly having planned the weekend, it was sure to have been wild, writes Harry Cole for the Daily Beast.
