(SOAP Q) HUNK of the WEEK: Will (DAYS)!

Will with Grandma, Marlena
Will Horton was born on November 16, 1995. It is later revealed Sami forged hospital records to conceal the fact that Lucas Roberts is Will's biological father. Over the following years, Will is centric to a custody battle between his parents. In addition he is a source of bad feeling between Sami and his grandmother Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Will later becomes rebellious; informally addressing his parents and hurting his cousin Abby. Will has issues with his parents being separated. He catches them together on a number of occasions and thinks they will reconcile. Lucas proposes to Sami, but they later separate when Lucas thinks Sami has been unfaithful, leaving Will upset. However, they reunite and attempt to marry again until Sami ruins it once more. Lucas marries his aunt Carrie, while Sami gets engaged to Austin. Will is happy with the outcome of his parents’ new relationships. Sami ruins her latest relationship, this time Will cannot cope and run away to Chicago. Sami fears that he has been kidnapped and goes onto the news to plea for his safe return, which prompts Will to come home.

Will decides to return and live with Sami. Will strikes up a friendship with Mia McCormick (Taylor Spreitler) and they grow close, not realizing she has been dishonest about her past. They enter a relationship following the death of his sister, Grace. Will ends their relationship when it becomes apparent that Mia has feelings for her ex-boyfriend Chad DiMera (Casey Deidrick). Mia tells him about her pregnancy and he gets back with her. Mia then separates from him in order to prevent Chad from finding information about the baby Nicole had adopted. Will then discovers that Mia is back with Chad the following day. Then everyone discovers Grace was not Sami's biological daughter, and Sydney was her real daughter after a mix up. Will is willing to date Mia again following the news but he soon changes his mind when he realizes that Mia is playing games with himself and Chad.

Will starts a relationship with Gabi. He also becomes friends with Sonny Kiriakis (actor Freddie Smith), but is shocked to learn that he is gay. He tells Gabi that he is okay with Sonny's sexuality. Will avoids getting intimate with her while they are together. He then asks her to move in with him and she accepts, but when Will rebuffs her again, Gabi ends their relationship. Will destroys Maggie's kitchen in anger.

He later catches Sami having sex with EJ, which causes friction between the pair. Will bonds with his grandmother Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and reveals that Sami is being unfaithful to Rafe. He tries blackmailing EJ with said information, so he can get out of town, but EJ turns the tables, and tells Will that he knows it was Will that shot him, after his father, Lucas, had taken the blame. Will therefore starts working for him, as an intern, much to the dismay of his family. After an argument with Sami, Will goes to a party with Sonny and gets drunk. He meets Neil and kisses him, which is witnessed by Sonny. Will tells Sonny that he was just drunk and goes to see Marlena. He tells her about the kiss and she tells him that she will support him and that she always knew. He then tells Sonny that he is not gay.

When Lucas returns to Salem, he and Sammi resume their old relationship. Will has mixed feelings about this because of what he says is Sami destroying his family with EJ. Lucas sees Will and Sonny hoarsing around, and tells Will that he's afraid people will assume he is gay. His grandmother, Kate, tells him she knows and does not care, but he tells her he does not know what she's talking about. Will eventually tells Marlena, that he is gay. Immediately after he comes out to Sonny as well. Both of them have known all along, and take it well. He is not ready to tell his parents though, afraid of their, and the rest of his family's reaction.

When he finally comes out to his parents, which happens during an argument, his father takes it well, while his mother becomes upset. She is angry about him telling his grandmother before telling her, but goes off, venting to EJ. EJ comforts her and tells her that her son is probably thinking she hates him for being gay, which makes her realize that he needs her. She tells him she doesn't care whether or not he is gay and they reconcile. He continues keeping it a secret to the rest of the world.

After an explosion hits Salem, he quits his job for EJ, and he meets up with Sonny, who unexpectedly kisses him. Because of the initial surprise he has a negative reaction, and once he realizes he might have feelings for him, he goes to see him. He sees Sonny with one of his friends, who is hitting on him, and misunderstands the situation, thinking Sonny's moved on. He avoids Sonny for a long time, until T tells him that Sonny is still hung up on Will, and they reunite. When Will overhears Adrienne Johnson, Sonny's mother, telling her husband that Will is not good enough for Sonny, and that he will only break his heart, because of his parents' bad history, he gets cold feet about it. Eventually Sonny puts his fears at rest, and Adrienne apologizes to Will. After Lucas sees them kissing he goes to Adrienne and expresses his doubts about their relationship, which Will overhears. Will confronts him about it, and tells him that unless he can put his accept who he is, and who he is, they have nothing left to say to each other. This past week, Sonny and Will go to the next level and Make Love, at the same time Gabi is getting the results of her Pregnancy Test. Will is headed for more DADDY Drama. STAY TUNED.
