My East Coast Tour Started Saturday, August 20th with an extended visit to the Big Apple (New York City) and my tasks included RE-viewing 3 Broadway shows, INTER-viewing a Broadway Star, Discussing Marriage Equality with a panel of experts (for a Special Edition of OURview), and PRE-viewing the Gay Marriage boom that has hit NY, since Gay Marriage became Equal to Straight Marriage. I spent a total of 5 nights in New York and worked from beginning to end. The finished coverage will last into Fall.
My first day concluded with New York's version of OURview and OUTscene with QTalk, a LIVE Chat show Monthly at the Metropolitan Room in the Flatiron District. Hosted by Theater Veterans, Frantz Hall and Angie McKnight. It started a banter like 'Regis and Kelly' to the seriousness of The View's HOT Topics. With Marriage Equality leads to the Legalities of Marriage with New York attorney, Anthony Brown, Esq, (Watch him on the upcoming 'OURview' Special: Marriage Equality) and a crowd pleasing performance from Broadway star, Shaun Barker. Special Thanks to Steve Deitsch for arranging my attendance.
On Sunday, the coverage continued with a tour of the beautiful Lower Mid-Town, Kitano Hotel for the OUTscene Special : Gay Weddings, NY Style. We showcased the rooftop terrace with views of the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings. That is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. Many Thanks to my Host Hotel the Kitano, who treated me like Royalty!

The Next Day on Tuesday, while waiting for Nick at the Actors Equity office on the 2nd Floor, I guess the earth moved, but I felt nothing. After about 30 minutes of trying to find a place to shoot the INTER-view with Adams, we settled on in-front of the Palace Theater (where Priscilla performs). Nick was in shorts and a Tank to show off his famous Big Guns. Look the the On-camera INTER-view soon. Sorry No shot of his six-pack, folks.
Upon my return to the Kitano, I met up with Dot429's Event Director, Jason Dorn. Jason is an old friend from Portland, and after a Fab Dinner, we attended 'Sister Act, the Musical' (See RE-view).
After the Glitzy show, it was appropriate to head to my favorite NY hangout, The TownHouse, and later Jason's Favorite Hangout, Posh.
On Wednesday, I rushed to the James NY Hotel in SoHo for a tour of the One year plus art-deco hotel catering to the Gay wedding boom. See the Full Tour and coverage soon. I even sampled some food at David Burke's Restaurant before rushing to the meatpacking district and posh Members only club, the SoHo House to have coffee with NY Gay Socialite and old Friend, William Kapfer. The meeting was too brief as I had to rush off to St. Barts Church in East Mid-Town to film 'OURview: Marriage Equality' with Anthony Brown, Esq and Wedding Officiant, Rev. Annie Lawrence. The Shoot went off without a hitch! See it in the coming weeks!
With that completed, I settled in and got ready for the next adventure in Stormy Philadelphia! Stay Tuned!
Hey, it isn't too late to donate to our Tour Fund, we still have to pay for our East Coast tour. Please Help if Like what you see!
