The last few minutes of last night’s episode of Brothers & Sisters had a shocking confession from Scotty (Luke Macfarlane) that just came out of nowhere.
If you haven’t watched it yet, SPOILER ALERT. Apparently he’s kept the secret for months that he cheated on Kevin (Matthew Rhys). He had his outburst when Kevin comes home and says he wants to foster or adopt a child. Scotty starts blubbering and confessing.
We don’t get to see Scotty cheat (let’s hope for a flashback!), we don’t really get to see what led to the cheating other than Kevin being a workaholic.
In the episodes leading up to Scotty’s big confession, all seemed normal between the two as they cheered on Uncle Saul’s dating adventures just last week.
Previews of next week’s episode show an angry and tearful Scotty that he wrecked their marriage etc. so maybe we’ll get a better understanding of the circumstances that led to this totally out-of-character behavior from Scotty.
