It's WAR: Trump to Letterman: You’re Fired!

Usually, politicians go around kissing babies and winning votes, but Donald Trump's unique path to the White House appears to be pissing off as many people as he possibly can: The Donald Tuesday smacked back at David Letterman after the host said last week that Trump's birtherism were starting to "smack of racism," reports Fox News. "Based upon your statements," Trump wrote, "and despite the fact that we have always done so well together, especially in your ratings, I am canceling my May 18th appearance on your show."

Trump writes that he "was disappointed" by Letterman's comments and says, "In actuality, nothing could be further from the truth and there is nobody who is less of a racist than Donald Trump." But wait, there's more: "Additionally, please inform your staff that I will likewise not do the 'top ten' list that they had been trying to set up." Zing. Letterman's camp had no comment.

TRUMP Roast DC-Style: Obama Zings Trump!

Don't go to Vegas with Donald Trump these days: The would-be presidential candidate was betting last night that "I wouldn't think [Obama] would address me" in his speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. No such luck, reports Politico:

•Trump's "taken some flak lately but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than The Donald," said Obama. "And that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like, 'Did we fake the moon landing?' 'What really happened in Roswell?' And 'Where are Biggie and Tupac?'"

•Obama moved on to other rivals, including Michele Bachmann, who's "thinking about running for president, which is weird because I hear she was born in Canada. Yes, Michele, this is how it starts."

It's WAR!- Cher blasts Donald Trump on Twitter!

Leave it to Cher to really speak her mind about The Donald. The superstar said in a pair of tweets via Twitter:

It's WAR: Rimes Defends her marriage to LGBT Critics!

Singer/songwriter LeAnn Rimes took offense to an article LezGetReal posted Saturday about how her marriage kind of sticks it to the gays. She responded by tweeting this:

@amejean @lezgetreal After all I’ve done for the Gay community and how I show my support in any way I can…this is just ignorant and I think NOTHING of someone’s own anger directed toward me. SOMEONE should do their research before opening mouth and inserting foot….lol! It's WAR: Bratz Beat Barbie in COURT!

A long-fought court battle between the makers of Bratz and Barbie has been decided—and Bratz are the surprise victors, the Los Angeles Times reports. The federal jury said Bratz maker MGA Entertainment had neither infringed on Mattel’s copyright nor stolen trade secrets, and that Mattel doesn’t own the rights to Bratz. The jury found that Mattel was the one stealing secrets, and owed MGA $88.5 million for it—just one chunk of the damages the Barbie maker must pay.


Mattel holds that the creator of Bratz, Carter Bryant, thought up Bratz while working at Mattel, then handed it to MGA. A lower court had awarded Mattel $100 million in damages and told MGA to give Mattel control of the big-headed, sexily dressed dolls. An appeals court disagreed, saying Mattel couldn’t stake a claim on every doll with an attitude. Though MGA won today, the years-long fight may have hurt the Bratz brand, the Times notes.

Apparently Anderson Cooper is not a Jersey Shore fan. On the Tuesday night edition of Anderson Cooper 360, the host slammed all the people paying Snooki to "show up and throw up," including the MTV execs giving her a raise and, of course, Rutgers. In his opinion, Snooki is just an "impossibly lucky, unusually spunky, freakishly tan, beer-guzzling, juicehead-hugging, muscle-loving, Botero body, pint-sized, money-making machine." It's WAR: Trump's Feuding With Coz-bay!

Feuding with the media apparently isn't enough for Donald Trump—he's now got a beef with Bill Cosby as well. Trump has taken exception to comments made by Cosby on the Today show last week and has issued a statement branding the comedian a two-faced backstabber, TMZ reports. Cosby told host Meredith Vieira that Trump is "full of it" and said: "You run, or shut up—but the only thing he's running is his mouth."

Franco and Bruce Vilanch make up!

Yesterday, I posted about the war of words between Oscar writer Bruce Vilanch and James Franco with the actor responding via Twitter to remarks Vilanch made about Franco’s performance as Oscar host, Details from  Greg in Hollywood.

Vilanch explained to Franco: “i was JOKING with this guy on the red carpet about all the sleeping jokes about you. he then got vehement about how bad you were and i was trying to DEFEND you. i don’t know what version, what context you read these remarks in, but believe me, i would never diss you. that’s not my style.”

We have been patient to hear what Bruce Vilanch has to say about Franco's disaster Oscar Host Gig. Anyone knows that Bruce's comedy is brilliant and it showed with Anne Hathaway, but Franco fell flat and it was oblivious that Franco wanted to do his own thing! Bruce has Finally has broke his silence.

Bruce joked to the Vulture blog this week that “I have to call James Franco and tell him the show’s over. He doesn’t know. He took a nap and he woke up in class.”

Franco, juggling graduate classes with acting jobs and the Oscar gig, seemed a bit sleepy to viewers.
