(CLASSIC MOMENTS) 30 days of GH-#14!

What is a Little Blackmail between Friends!
General Hospital Turns 50 in 14 Days, and we will be counting down with the Greatest moments in TV History. Today (From 1983-2013) A Now Sleazy and Greedy Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) was married to Susan Moore (Gail Ramsey) , supposedly for financial reasons. Scotty was sleeping with her cousin, Heather Webber (Robin Matson). Susan was the mistress of the wealthy Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) and they had a son, Jason, with a considerable trust fund. Susan was murdered (More Later), and Jason was then raised by Alan and his wife Monica. Scott left Port Charles soon afterward.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) first appeared in Port Charles in April 1986 as a mousy librarian, whose involvement with Kevin O'Connor (More Later) .  After O'Connor duped her, Lucy retaliated by writing a tell-all book, by which she hoped to make some money. With the mousy Lucy now gone, she proceeded to have an affair with Bobbie Spencer's then-husband, Jake Meyer, with whom she miscarried a child. In the wake of her affair, Lucy was set up by her aunt Charlene with Tony Jones (Brad Maule), which resulted in a wedding. After her marriage to Tony fell apart, Lucy ended up marrying Alan Quartermaine in a memorable ceremony, where she wore a red wedding dress. During her marriage to Alan, Lucy had an affair with Scott Baldwin, become pregnant with and miscarrying yet another child. Lucy with Scott, set up Luke's Lookalike cousin, Bill to secure his millions, which backfired. Lucy then created the scent for Deception Perfume and was able to get Edward Quartermaine (David Lewis) to be its Primary investor. Lucy ended up leaving town for a short while for a Bigger Fish.

Lucy's Best accessory was her underwear
When Lucy returned to Port Charles, Scott had moved on with Dominique Taub (Shell Danielson), who had been diagnosed with a terminal form of cancer. While Scott was reluctant to trust her, Dominique saw a kinder, gentler Lucy, and convinced Scott to allow her to be the surrogate mother to their child. After Dominique died, Lucy gave birth to their daughter, Serena, in a cabin during a blizzard. After being pressured by the mob, Scott was forced to flee Port Charles with Serena. Lucy returned to a her scheming ways, albeit temporarily, and made a bet with Damian Smith that he could not bed Bobbie. Soon afterward, Lucy met Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), who helped her become the kind and considerate person she had been under Dominique's influence, once again. Lucy also started hosting the Nurses Ball, but every year, she ends up inadvertently in her underwear!

Lucy's romantic involvement with Kevin continued, despite facing many challenges in their burgeoning relationship. After discovering that she had psychic abilities and a Vampire Slayer (REALLY!), she began to meddle in the lives of others, often placing herself in danger. After Kevin suffered a mental breakdown, Lucy stood by his side, and the two planned to get married.

Scotty was Frantic to find a kidnapped Serena and returned to town and discovered that Dominique's uncle Rex (Wayne Northup), was holding Serena for her trust fund. Rex even Blackmailed Lucy into Marriage! Luckily it was was annulled and Serena was returned. A Businessman named David Bordisso (Granville Van Dusen), came to town obsessed with Lucy, turned out to be the late Meg Baldwin's lover and Scott's Biological Father! Scott appreciated and got closer to his step-dad, Lee Baldwin (Peter Hansen), even more. Scott also got to know his other daughter, Dr. Karen Wexler (Jennifer Hammon).

Lucy and Scott get Married and adopt a girl and name her, Christina. When Lucy and Scott break up, Lucy marries Kevin at Last.  Trouble looms when Lucy thinks the town is invaded by Vampires. It is 10 years before we know the real story.

Scotty Got Close to Laura (Genie Francis) again (More Later) Scotty did eventually blurt out a marriage proposal to Laura, but she ended up choosing Luke instead of him. Scotty couldn't talk her out of it, and eventually turned to his ex-girlfriend, Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman).

Bobbie eventually broke up with Scott, because of his dirty tactics against Alexis in the run for D.A. Later, Luke returned to town and was arrested again.  Scott was an extremely corrupt DA, frequently using his position to take action against his enemies, at one point even ordering Luke arrested by his own son, Lucky.

Scott was delighted to find his son, but hated that he was like Luke!
Meanwhile, an ex Iraqi soldier, Logan Hayes (Josh Duhon), comes to Port Charles and it is eventually revealed that Scott had fathered a son in Texas around the same time that Logan was born. Logan admits he had found letters Scott had written to his mother, and a DNA test proves they are father and son.

In the beginning of 2008, Scott and Logan have a rift when Scott accuses Logan of taking police files to blackmail Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash), in order to keep him away from Lulu, who Logan is trying to win back. Scott puts pressure on Alexis Davis to hand over her job as District Attorney to him. In July, Logan tries to Rape Lulu and she kills Logan in self-defense, devastating Scott.

When Scott finds out Lulu was the killer, he threatens her in front of Laura, who defends her daughter. Scott then kidnaps Laura and takes her to Los Angeles, to relive their honeymoon! Luke, Tracy, Nikolas, Lucky and Lulu pursue them and bring her home. As Laura boards a plane to France to seek further treatment, Scott is seen behind her on the plane. It is presumed he has gone to live in Paris near Laura and his daughter, Serena.

In December 2012, Lucy returns at the behest of Sabrina Santiago, who is attempting to resurrect the Nurses' Ball, but is having a difficult time finding financial backing. Although Lucy expresses a genuine desire to resurrect the ball, financial issues involving her company, CoeCoe Cosmetics, prevent her from doing so.  Lucy arrives at the hospital vowing to resurrect the ball. In order to accomplish this, Lucy plans to use her 1% share of ELQ to force either Tracy Quartermaine or A.J. Quartermaine, who are both vying for control of ELQ, to finance the ball. Ultimately, Lucy awards her share to Tracy, also requesting that she be allowed to move into the Quartermaine Mansion.

In January 2013, Lucy has an encounter with John McBain (Michael Easton)  and Samantha Morgan (Kelly Monaco) at Kelly's Diner, mistaking them for Caleb Morley and Livvie Locke. Believing "Caleb" to be a danger to "Livvie", she stabs John with a broken chair leg. Lucy is then arrested and taken to jail. Attourney Alexis Davis later represents her in court, where she gets Lucy to plead not guilty by reason of insanity and is admitted to Ferncliff. Lucy Meets up with Scott's Ex, Heather Webber and along with Todd, escape Ferncliff.

Laura and Scott return to announce their engagement. Lucy realizes being a Vampire Slayer was a dream and Caleb was really a man named Stephen Clay and a serial Killer and not a vampire. Stephen is stabbed to death and disappears (REALLY!). Lucy Reunites with Kevin and continue with Nurse's Ball Plans. Scott gets jealous with Laura and Luke bonding and seeks out Lucy for Help. What Happens next? STAY TUNED.
