One of the Best Gay films at SIFF 2012 was the full- length version of a short from 2010. 'GAYBY' re-teams Jenn Harris and Matthew Wilkas, with Writer/Director, Jonathan Lisecki who also has a supporting role. This Film is coming out on DVD on 12/11! Lisecki is also nominated for a Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay.
SYNOPSIS:
Broadway actor Matthew Wilkas (“Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark”) co-stars with the hilarious Jenn Harris as a gay guy and his straight best friend who decide to have a baby together — the old-fashioned way! Hilarious, sexy, wacky and romantic, this perfectly told New York tale from writer-director-star Jonathan Lisecki follows the travails of Jen and Matt all the way to one of the happiest happy endings you’ve ever seen. Cast also includes Adam Driver (HBO’s “Girls”) and Dulé Hill (“Psych”)!
Gayby has a runtime of 89 minutes and is not rated.
