When the formidable Dr. Reid Oliver was blackmailed into coming to Oakdale by Luke to operate on a hilariously blind Noah, who knew that he and the pouty princess would soon become what many people feel is soap's greatest gay supercouple.
It took a long time for the crusty doc to warm to ... well, anybody, and he was by turns conceited, arrogant and appallingly rude, but there was another side to him that was ... obnoxious, flippant, and snotty. But Luke managed to calm the Savage Ginger™, and after he and Noah broke up, found out that there was more to Reid than bubbling smolder and witty retorts.
