My wife Heidi and I are producing and hosting a fundraising event downtown on Monday Night October 1st and I am asking personally that you consider joining us if you are available. I really need to starting getting the word out and getting tickets sold, so I need you and your network of contacts! We are bringing the Portland Musical Theater talent together for “best of” show evening – and we have some great performers.

You may not know that Heidi has been involved in musical theatre and singing here in Portland for over 30 years. She has worked with incredible talent and on great productions. We have asked those people to all come together for a night of entertainment in support of the Jackson Hill Wellness Center at the Randall Children’s Hospital (brand new facility on the Emanuel Hospital campus).


Our son lost his best friend, Jackson Hill, to Osteosarcoma Cancer 7 years ago at the age of 12, and in his honor his parents created the Jackson Hill Foundation. The Foundation committed to fund and build the Wellness Center at the hospital. It is now open and helping families with sick children. They are, however, about $50,000 short on funding the project and it is getting attention from hospitals all across the country. We are bringing this group of theatre companies together to help shrink that gap. No auction, no golf tournament…just 90 minutes of great entertainment for an incredibly important cause.

There is a link to purchase tickets. $50 is a commitment and we know it, but if we can sell 600 seats, we are well on our way. it’s a Monday night, but if you ever wanted to see a “highlight reel” of what Portland theatre companies are showcasing, now is your chance.
