The guys finally lost one.
In a not-unexpected move (votefortheworst.com claimed 70% of bloggers predicted his demise, I predicted that Last week would be the last), it was the end of the line for likable troubadour Paul McDonald, the bearded, gravelly voiced song-and-kinda-dance man, who was eliminated on tonight’s “American Idol.”
That reduced the show’s finalists to seven—five guys and two gals—as the Fox series wrapped up “Songs from the Movies” week. McDonald finished in the Bottom Three for the second time, as did Haley Reinhart and Stefano Lancone, the latter staving off final elimination twice in the last two weeks. Somebody increase the smooth crooner’s Valium prescription.
See Ya in Seattle, Paul!
