Why I(we) loved last night’s episode of “Glee”!

No Britney, no hype, just good stories, good acting, good music and a very good new cast member in Chord Overstreet, Greg in Hollywood Reports.

I loved last night’s Duets episode of Glee more than any other episode so far this season.

It was cool that Brittany and Santana were casually making out on top of the bed, no big deal made of it.

As Santana kisses her neck, Brittany sighs: ‘Oh, sweet lady kisses’, before Santana smiles and says: ‘It’s a nice break from all that scissoring’, referring to a lesbian sexual position.

Go Cheerios!!! [Brittany gets around in this episode by later sleeping with Artie who had been a virgin].
Kurt had a touching scene with his dad who told him that as an openly gay kid in high school, he was just going to have to go at it alone sometimes. [Rachel assures Kurt at episode's end that he is most certainly not alone].

The episode was also good in Kurt’s dad telling him he is aware that Kurt had an attraction to Finn. Fimn had also told Kurt that he doesn’t have a problem with gay people, he has a problem with him not knowing that no means no. I like how that was handled.

I also like how we don’t know if the new kid Sam (Overstreet) is gay and how we find out that he is not. Still, he was not afraid to duet with Kurt no matter what anybody thought. He ends up doing a very sweet duet with Quinn and the romantic sparks are flying.
