‘Dancing with the Stars‘ sent another couple packing and I have one word for this elimination: Really?
Guess who’s headed for ‘The Hills.’
She came in second place this week with a total score of 32, but that didn’t stop reality star Audrina Patridge and her partner Tony Dovolani from getting the boot on Tuesday’s results show.
What a shocker! After it was revealed that Audrina and Jennifer Grey were in the bottom two, judge Bruno Tonioli said, “I can’t believe it.” “This is ludicrous,” said Len Goodman.
“I’ve had so much fun this entire experience,” she said after her surprise elimination. “Tony has been such an amazing teacher.”
In parting, Audrina also admitted, “Emotionally, last week was pretty hard … I felt like I was pushing it,” so she was surprised that she couldn’t tap into character the way the judges wanted.
Audrina Patridge Makes an Announcement
After the show, Audrina told reporters she was “very shocked” and held back tears. “I wanted more time I felt like it was unfinished business. But I’ll be back. Next week is the 200th episode party so I’ll be there for that,” she said.
Other highlights (and lowlights) of the show included: Encore! Encore! I’m still aghast that Bristol Palin remains on the show with all of her low scores and subpar performances. So to have to sit through an encore performance of her Tango again, all I can say is why? And who are her fans exactly?
Rocking Guests: Heart and Kyle Minogue in one night! Oh, and commentary from Alice Cooper, Bret Michaels and Dee Snider. My head exploded. Kudos again to the Powers That Be at ‘DWTS’ for landing rocking guests. Heart rocked out with the classic “Barracuda” while Barechested pros Louis Van Amstel, Karina Smirnoff, Derek Hough and Chelsie Hightower strutted their stuff. Kylie Minogue performed her latest club hit, “Get Outta My Way.”
