Let me just say right here that in general, I try to keep a positive attitude about life and about humanity.
But it’s hard with idiots like Carl Paladino out there spouting his anti-gay views.
Then along come people like Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas who I follow on Twitter and who is always staunchly defending equal rights for all including same-sex marriage.
Rob has made a video for The Trevor Project’s It Gets Better campaign that I want to share with you. In it he says to the kids who are being bullied or feel isolated: “Before you know it, you’re going to be around a whole other group of people in your life, and those are the people that are going to understand that it’s those things about you that make you so special and those are the things that they love the most.”
