Darryl Stephens, so good as a transgender patient on ABC’s Private Practice a few weeks ago, is speaking up about teen suicide.
The openly gay actor, best known for playing the title role in the Noah’s Arc television series and feature film, talks about how as a kid, he was into dancing and choir instead of football and other sports.
This made life in high school tough but he carried with him every day a message from his mother: “You are beautiful and brilliant.”
