Fantastic news soap fans! USA Today has the scoop this Monday morning that Vanessa Marcil is returning to General Hospital in her role as Brenda Barrett on the August 11th! According to the item, “Brenda Barrett will return to Port Charles with a big secret that, of course, is sure to wreak havoc.”
Marcil has played Brenda, the role she made soap famous and uber popular on and off since 1992. Vanessa took home the Outstanding Supporting Actress prize at the Daytime Emmys in 2003. Welcome home Brenda! More on this developing story later.
