Glee’s Jane Lynch has confirmed that she is engaged.
In January, the New York Times’
Carpetbagger blog reported that she and longtime girlfriend, psychologist Lara Embry, were tying the knot in May. But her rep shot down the report, telling Access Hollywood that “Jane is currently in a relationship and there is no related news to that relationship.”
But at a ‘Glee’ event Saturday at the Grove in Los Angeles, Lynch, 49, told UsMagazine.com the reports are correct.
“Yes, yes, it’s true!” she told Us.
She said she doesn’t know when they’ll wed.
“We don’t have any plans at all yet,” she added. “But I have a ring and everything. We’re very happy and very excited!”
And what can we expect from her character, cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, on the new season of Glee, which premieres this week?
