ACTION: True Blood goes Gay Hot, Behind the Scenes!

BlackBook describes some horseplay on the True Blood set in a new interview with Alexander Skarsgard: Before the cameras begin rolling, Skarsgård walks up to his mark in the center of the room, Moyer kneels in front of him—his character is picking something up off the ground when the shot begins—and the director watches them from his chair in front of a camera monitor. While waiting in their places, Skarsgård looks down at his costar and says dryly, “It looks like he’s sucking me off,” to which Moyer responds by bobbing his head vigorously. Skarsgård closes his eyes and starts moaning with the intensity of a slash-fiction hero, after which Moyer stands up and wipes imaginary fluids from his mouth with the back of his hand. He scans the crowd and after taking a slight bow says, “And the Emmy goes to… ” A crew member whispers to no one in particular, “Now that’s what I call ‘Action.’

BEEFCAKE: Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skarsgard: Disrobing with Wolves!

True Blood's Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skarsgard faced off sans clothes on last night's True Blood episode. Manganiello tells MTV that it's less interesting to be nude on the set with Skarsgard than it is to be with a live wolf.

Says Manganiello: "The showdown between Alcide and Eric takes place in the lake. Eric has drunk some fairy blood so he can be in the sunlight. Sookie has to enlist Alcide's help to go track him down so he has to transform into a wolf and go sniff him out. Basically it's Alcide and Eric both naked, screaming at each other at the top of their lungs with Sookie in the middle...Anytime the wolves come out it's always a little wild. Alex and I were both naked, him in the water, me not, yelling. There's a wolf near us, Anna's in the middle....Alex is a really funny guy, so is Anna...[We're] as comfortable as we can be, seeing how we're naked with a giant body of water and a wild animal."

Which straight “True Blood” character turns gay?

Okay True Blood fans, here’s a cool twist for you: TV/Line reports that in the show’s highly-anticipated fourth season which begins June 26, a major character will become involved in a same-sex romance.

Writes Michael Ausiello: I’m not going to reveal any more clues about the character — who may or may not be featured in the above image — so as not to risk getting fanged by series creator Alan Ball. However, I will say that, having witnessed the big reveal, it doesn’t feel gimmicky.

In fact, after the initial shock wears off, I imagine you will do what I did and go, “Yeah. Makes total sense.”

Ausiello does not reveal who the character is but that isn’t enough to stop me from posting a little gallery of some of the show’s hot male stars including Ryan Kwanten, Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer and Sam Trammell.
