(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Gabi & Nick’s wedding is halted and Will tells all of Salem he’s the baby daddy!

So the wedding between Nick and Gabi is just about concluded and they are about to be pronounced husband and wife when Chad stands up and blabs that Nick is not the father.

Chaos ensues with Rafe going after Chad but Nick and Gabi want to finish the ceremony. But best man Will has a little news to share of his own: “I’m the baby’s father.” Woa!

Watch how it all goes down!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Busy day for Will AS Sonny gives him a key and Gabi asks him to be their baby’s godfather and Gabi and Nick’s wedding starts!

 

We begin with Sonny making Will breakfast in bed and among the items on the tray are … a key!

Will happily accepts the invite to move in and basically gallops over to his mom’s house to pack his things.

Then later, he and Gabi have a sweet moment and she asks him to be their baby’s godfather – but she clearly has not cleared this with Nick!

The day of Gabi and Nick’s wedding haD arrived and it’s just beautiful with readings and a hot priest, Eric Brady, to marry them. Will is up there as best man, Abigail is maid of honor and among the wedding guests is … Chad!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Somebody out there knows Nick is not the baby daddy!

 

You just know that the shit is about to hit the fan in Salem when it comes to the true paternity of Gabi’s baby.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will tries on his tux and goes to Nick’s bachelor party … but trouble looms!

 

Salem is such a small town that even your enemies go to your bachelor party.
And Nick is not a popular dude!

But Chad, who once beat him to a pulp, is there, as is his cousin Will who there is tension with because Will is the father of Nick’s fiance’s baby – and and Will is gay and Nick is a homophobe.

But that’s not the big development here. Somebody learns that Nick is not the daddy of Gabi’s baby – somebody who is not supposed to know!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will and Sonny have a very affectionate New Year’s Eve in Salem!

 

I am glad that DAYS are showing more Bed and kissing scenes than Soaps have ever done.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: At the last minute, Will stops Gabi from confessing about her baby’s paternity!

 

It’s clear that our Will is struggling with his decision to let Gabi let the town of Salem think the father of her baby is Nick. This is what makes Will so endearing to us.

While most young guys might be relieved to not have to take responsibility in this kind of situation – especially if they were in a new relationship with a guy – for Will it is about what is best for the child.

So that is what is guiding Will’s feelings and actions – what is best for the baby, not what is best for him.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will has a nightmare that has him wondering if he can keep denying his child

 

Will has a nightmare involving Nick, Gabi and his unborn son.

When he talks to Gabi about feeling squeezed out of the kid’s life, she pretty much confirms to him that that is the way it’s going to be.

That has our Will realizing that he might not be able to follow through with the plan to let Nick claim his and Gabi’s baby as his own.

‘Every day this baby gets more and more real to me,’ he tells Gabi. ‘Every day it gets worse for me. … Do you think you could watch your own child growing up and not have any feelings about it?’

Meanwhile, Nick is being pretty cocky and obnoxious as he negotiates a job with Will’s grandma Kate.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will and Sonny kiss under the mistletoe!

 

I don’t know what I’m more excited about: Will and Sonny sweetly kissing under the mistletoe or that fact that Sonny, finally, is having a good hair day. FAB!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: It’s Christmas Day for Will, Sonny and the rest of the gang! AWKWARD!

You know Will and Sonny are a solid couple when they make the Christmas party rounds and spend time with each other’s families. Of course Nick and Will are at the same party, since they are Hortons and they both have a ornament on the Horton Family Christmas tree! Gabi was given a Christmas Ornament to hang, but I don't think it had her name on it. My comment was Sonny should been given the same respect.

Both sets of parents are cool with the pair now but Will is still steamed at Nick for referring to him as ‘the gay boy’ the other day. AWKWARD!

The former jailbird will rue the day he made that little remark!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will and Sonny have a fight and Kiss!

 

It’s almost Christmas in Salem so it’s a pity to have lovebirds Will and Sonny at odds with each other.But they have an unlikely ally in Will’s dad Lucas who may have objected to their being together in the past, but is now rooting for the couple to make it through this rough patch.

You just know this while ‘Let’s pretend Nick is the daddy of Gabi’s baby’ scheme is going to blow up – especially when Nick idiotically refers to Will as ‘the gay boy.’ WHOA!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Sonny’s treatment of Gabi is causing a rift with Will and lots more baby drama !

Lots going on with Will and Sonny and Gabi and Nick and Sami and Rafe and all the other lovely people of Salem.

Gabi blurts out the real baby due date – earlier than anyone imagined – but Nick saves her with some quick thinking. Meanwhile Rafe is in full big brother mode and has a face-to-face with Will who thinks Rafe knows he’s the father and almost tells all.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Finally a Will and EJ scene!

 

Will Horton and EJ DiMera have been in the thick of things but not shared any screen time.

That changed Thursday when the former employee and employer and former stepson and stepfather finally ran into each other in Salem Town Square (where else?) and caught up a bit.

There are those of us, of course, who think Will and EJ have more chemistry than Will and Sonny. I just love the way EJ says: “William …” Still hoping for that Romp!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: The plot thickens for Will, Sonny, Gabi, Nick and Chad in the very small town of Salem!

Nick and Gabi go for pre-marriage counseling with Eric, the hot priest who happens to be the uncle of Will, the father of the baby Gabi is carrying that Nick is claiming as his own.

Will is beginning to have trouble processing it all – especially his uncle being involved and there is a tense confrontation between he and Nick.

Meanwhile, Chad is paying the price for blabbing to Sonny about Gabi’s involvement in Melanie’s kidnapping and Sonny can’t even stand to be in Gabi’s presence.

It’s all gotten very juicy.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will to be the best man at Gabi and Nick’s wedding – awkward!

 

Lots going on right now with our Will Horton and company on Days of Our Lives these days.

Love having his storyline front and center.
These scenes from Tuesday’s show have Will being very awkwardly drafted into being best man for Gabi and Nick’s wedding by his great-grandmother and his very bossy mom Sami who has become a wedding planning nightmare!

Meanwhile, toxic but impossibly cute Chad is still fuming about Gabi and tells Sonny that Gabi was behind his ex-girlfriend’s kidnapping. He succeeds in making Sonny very anti-Gabi which is great because it enables Freddie Smith to be something other than sweet and understanding as Sonny.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Keeping Secrets!

Okay, lots going on with Will/Sonny/Gabi/Nick on Days of Our Lives and you can tell that things are only going to get more complicated and dramatic.

Of course everyone will find out Will is really the father of Gabi’s baby but how and when it will happen is the question.

For now, we can appreciate the sweet moments of bliss between Will and Sonny which are really so cute. But you can see the worry on Will’s face, the pain of having to hide the truth.

Meanwhile, bitter Chad is still going around being a pill. Let’s hope something either happens or he returns to his old self because his constant Gab-bashing is most unattractive.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will makes a hard decision about being his baby’s father!

 

Will  is going to be a daddy but is he going to be a hands-on daddy?


Writers have brought into the storyline Will himself being the result of an unplanned pregnancy and made it be about more than what Sonny will do if he finds out Will got Gabi pregnant.

In fact, Will does not seem worried about Sonny leaving him but the real problem will be when Sonny finds out Will has been lying to him – and we know he will find out!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will’s past as the unplanned child of teen parents impacts his feelings about raising Gabi’s baby!

 

Will does not want his and Gabi’s child to suffer the same way he did while he was growing up as the unplanned child of young parents.

This weighs heavily on him as he tries to decide whether to go along with Nick and Gabi’s plan to let Nick raise the baby as his own and keep the fact that Will is its father a secret from everyone – including Will’s boyfriend Sonny.

Will doesn’t seem to think that Sonny would leave him if he finds out the truth but will he tell him? BABY DRAMA!

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Nick pressures Will to let him claim and raise Gabi’s baby!

Nick thinks he has it all figured out. He claims to be the father of Gabi’s baby, marries her and they become a family. Will can go on with his life and pretend as if he doesn’t have as child out there in the world – the small world of Salem.

Will is thinking it over but it’s clear this is not something he is inclined to do. He may be a young dude, but he seems to understand the gravity of the situation.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will keeps Gabi’s pregnancy a secret from Sonny while Nick wants to be the baby’s daddy!

It was a Day of Pillow Talk with 2 Couples, concerning ONE baby. (Sonny is still in the Dark).

Gabi is still pregnant and Will is still keeping that fact from Sonny.

You get the feeling that Sonny is going to be more upset about Will keeping it from him than he will be about the pregnancy itself.

The strange part is that Will is agreeing to stay mum because Gabi’s boyfriend Nick says so.

Nick wants to claim the baby as his own and be a family with Gabi and the baby.

(SOAP Q) GAY DAYS: Will tells Nick he’s the father of Gabi’s baby!

 

Nick knows he’s not the daddy of Gabi’s baby so he assumes Chad must be. But Will steps up and tells him the truth.

Now Nick takes control of the situation. He doesn’t want to tell anyone that Will is the father and for now, Will and Gabi go along with it.
