SOAP Q: Chandler Massey on DAYS Gay Storyline!

DAYS OF OUR LIVES actor Chandler Massey spoke to Mingle Media TV at the GBK's Kids Choice Awards Gift Lounge and confirmed rumors that the soap is about to embark on a gay storyline for his character, Will (and Maybe Chad), according to We love Soaps.

"I actually just got a leak that DAYS is doing the first gay storyline ever in all its 45 years so that's coming up in the summer," Massey said. "That's going to be huge. It's very relevant obviously and I think it will be cool because most of the time you have clones, or somebody finding out they're dating their aunt, or something like that. I think it's going to be done very well."

SOAP Q: Gay DAYS ahead!?

'Do you want to Hook up?
As DAYS OF OUR LIVES celebrates its 45th anniversary in daytime, the traditionally conservative soap is about to get a lot more contemporary: EW is reporting that a gay storyline may be in the works! EW.com says it may involve a current cast member hooking up with someone new.

Will fans finally get the Chad and Will ("Chill") pairing many have clamored for? Or will the show go in a different direction? Do you think it's really happening? Lately, Will has been kissing his 'aunt' Gabi, and Chad felt awkward around Will and Gabi. It's Possible, but why bring in Abby into the story? The potential is endless. Great chemistry and the family reaction would bring conflict since the Bradys and Dimeras have feuded for years!

A show spokeswoman declined to comment on the story.
