Here is a newly released video of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) honoring The Imitation Game with the Ally for Equality Award at their annual Gala on Saturday at the Waldorf Astoria in New York, which features a special video message from Benedict Cumberbatch discussing his character and real life hero Alan Turing. Co-star Matthew Goode, director Morten Tyldum, producers Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky, and Harvey Weinstein were on hand to accept the honor. Joel Grey, who last week publicly came out as a gay man, presented the award.
