General Hospital Turns 50 in 22 Days, and we will be counting down with the Greatest moments in TV History. Today (In 1980) Luke and Laura run off together and spend the first night in High class at a dept Store. Thy dress up and dance, but unaware that Hutch, The Hit Man (Rick Moses) is lurking in the shadows. As Luke and Laura head to the town of Beecher's Corners, Hutch follows. They become friends and Head to Fair Oaks, where more danger awaits. The Trio gets jobs at a bar, ran by Sally (Christopher Morley). They are unaware that Sally is really Max (in Drag), Smith's #1 hitman!

The Hitman is Sally!

When Luke discovers the the truth, he makes a deal with  Sally/Max to take out Hutch, just as Hutch takes takes Laura Hostage! Hutch wants the Left Handed Boy Gold, so Luke finds the Gold and meets with Hutch. Both Hutch and Max shoot at each other, as Luke and Laura flee and head back to Beechers Corners. Laura finally tells Luke, she is ready to Make Love. In the Morning, Luke discovers Hutch, pointing a gun at his head, but Hutch collapses and is rushed to General Hospital. Luke and Laura arrive in town with a media frenzy and as Laura panics, she declares she is still Mrs Scotty Baldwin as it break Luke's Heart. Laura tracks down Luke and tells him she want to be his wife, but he rejects her. For the first time in her Life, she must stand alone and rebuilds her life. Outside influences push Luke and Laura together as a New adventure begins...STAY TUNED!
