(SOAP Q) GAY 'Days'; Will and Sonny have a moment in the coffee house that raises eyebrows!

Sonny gives Will a ‘free coffee for life’ card but teasingly pulls it away from him.

This leads to a playful little moment that includes a moment where the two young gay men, just friends up to now, lock eyes. It signals an attraction that would be awfully cool to see explored!

Will’s dad, Lucas, walks in just as the moment was happening (of course, everyone is always walking in on everyone at just the right/wrong moment on DOOL in order to move things along very quickly).

Lucas says to Will when they sit down: ‘If someone else saw what I saw, they might get the wrong idea. I just need you to know there are people out there who might jump to the wrong conclusions. I know you’re straight, there’s just something about the way Sonny was looking at you.’

Of course, Will’s other grandmother – the evil Kate who is Lucas’s mom – overhears the entire conversation – of course.
