No trip to Sin City would be complete without a little Beefcake. November 20th was my Final night in Las Vegas and it was by far the Best of the whole Tour. (I will spill all later).
When I arrived at the Rio's Chippendales Theater, I was greeted by their Sexy and Charming Publicist and was told even though 98% of the audience were women, the majority of last Friday's Audience were Gay Men.
The bow tie and cuff guys have been a fixture at the Rio since 2002, and in their current custom-built show space since early 2005.
I was also told That all of the members were straight, except the lead Singer and MC, Jaymes Vaughan, who officially came out in the December Issue of Q Vegas.
What was amazing was this was not your typical strip show, they actually sang and danced, even though not as Campy as 'Naked Boys Singing', this was literally Male Burlesque. When they brought a woman on stage to dress one of the dancers, the crowd roared.
Some of the scenes included, 'Smooth Criminal' homage to Michael Jackson, the Cowboy number and the True Blood/Twilight Number. The Finale feature their famous bow ties.
Afterwards, they posed for photos and took a tour of the VIP area where Major celebs have been known to sit. The Chipp Bar was also great way to rub shoulders with the guys.
