The Six Pack recently spoke to CNN anchor Don Lemon in Joy Behar’s office while he was guest hosting on HLN. Among other topics including how he was shoved by Marcus Bachmann, he opened up about his experience coming out and the affect it has had on his personal life and career. Don also spoke about The Daily Show bit that talked about his disdain for fluff news and his newfound pressure to get married and have kids.

“I’m fine. But in those situations you cannot push back so you just let it happen.”When asked if that could be considered a “gay on gay crime” he laughs with “no comment.”
- On coming out of the closet
“People say ‘you came out’, I guess I did, I just said the words I never said before in public. But I’m sure if you follow me on twitter or had any knowledge of Don Lemon, you knew.”
“It’s been better for me, I don’t know if it’s increased my platform, it’s just made me a more open, freer, happier person. It’s like hey, whatever, this is who I am.. and I think people see that.”
- On pressure to get married and have kids
“I’ve been in a 4 year relationship. I havent thought about this question in probably 25 years or more when I came to terms with who I was.”
“I think I will adopt a kid, but a nanny has to come with a kid.”
