When TELUS asked the veteran communications consultant to become involved with some branding for their new LGBT concept store, CAYA, she immediately said yes. Marketing, business development and branding was what she did best, so Caryl was more then happy to get involved. Especially seeing that CAYA was a concept store with a cause, aimed at becoming part of the LGBT community and giving back to it by donating to organizations like the Vancouver Queer Film Festival's Out in Schools, writes Morris Chapdelaine in The Vancouver Observer.
She laughed as she talked about showing up to her first meeting for the CAYA ad, and seeing a wardrobe stylist, lights, hair and make-up artists and a professional photographer ready to take her picture. "I consider myself one of Vancouver's go-to gay girls and a community connector, but a model?"
The billboard ads were a big hit, and suddenly Caryl was the famous gal with the pride flag between her teeth. Any anonymity she thinks she once had is now gone. But who is Caryl Dolinko, you ask? Well, if you don't know yet, you should. Click Here for more.
