CULTURE: Cops Hunt Tunneling Warhol Thieves!

Cops are hunting brazen art thieves who tunneled into a Manhattan apartment building and made off with works by Roy Lichenstein and Andy Warhol. The crooks broke into a wall of the five-story apartment in the trendy meatpacking district to grab $750,000 in art and jewelry. They also made off with a video camera connected to surveillance cameras. Collector Robert Romanoff was out of town when the heist took place. Investigators are appealing to the public in a search for clues. Stolen were Warhol's The Truck and Superman, and a set of eight signed prints from 1986 called Camouflage, which were among the artist's last works before his death, notes AP.
