In a town filled with mobsters and cops, it is refreshing to watch this sexy Doctor in action. Son of the town drunk and womanizer (Played by Rick Springfield), Patrick came to town by invitation of Dr. Alan Quatermaine and Dr. Robin Scorpio to operate on the town Hitman and Robin's ex, Jason. Robin, who is HIV positive (Her first love died from AIDS 15 yrs ago) was insecure about love and witnessing Patrick view on casual sex, literally. Robin softened and was able to let Patrick woo her. Patrick got huge dose of reality when he accidentally got some tainted blood on him from a HIV positive patient. He spent months worrying about HIV status and realized what Robin had to go through. When Patrick tested Negative, he still continued his relationship with Robin and was also tempted by a pretty nurse. Patrick eventually hooked up with the nurse, when Robin wanted to have a baby (with or without Patrick). When Robin's cousin was murdered by a serial killer, Robin turned back to Patrick for one night of passion that lead to Robin getting Pregnant! Patrick and Robin married and welcome their baby daughter. After Robin recovered from suffering from PPD, Patrick's ex came to town and Patrick was tempted once again. as Robin started to remember her late first love and wanted to go to Africa to work with AIDS patients. This past week Patrick offered to go to Africa with Robin, but there was no room in the expedition. So, Patrick is alone working at the hospital with his ex, who is dating the chief of staff!
