‘DWTS’ Ochocinco and his Abs are OUT!

Via Fancast:

For this season’s ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ it’s down to the final three, folks, and we are tickled pink at the results.

The first couple announced as finalists was Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya – and they were thrilled. “Derek and Nicole had dominated since the beginning of he season so for us to step up to their level, that’s what we were working for,” said Evan.

Evan and Anna were also the chosen ones for tonight’s encore performance of their Paso Doble, which Len called “fantastic.” “I think it was even better the second time around,” said co-host Brooke Burke.

We also knew it would be Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough in the final three. You don’t score a couple perfect scores a season without making it to two-night finale next week on Monday (May 24) and Tuesday (May 25). “If she’s not in the finale, something is wrong with the world,” said Len Goodman. Don’t fret: she’s in. She’s waaayyy in!

But the tension did mount and our hearts did race a wee bit when it was down to ESPN’s Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Bengals star Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke. Even though Erin and Maks’ scores were higher, fans just seem to love the charm of Chad and the sexual chemistry between the footballer and his dancing dame.

So, who is it going to be in the final spot for the finale? And who’s going home tonight? Let’s break it down:

1. Erin and Maks stay.
2. Chad and Cheryl go.
3. We are happy bloggers and eager for next week’s final. (Nothing personal, Chad and Cheryl!)
“My nerves they just kind of took over,” said Erin, after Len said she can’t win this thing unless she gets over those nerves. “I feel like Maks and I have come so far just from day one. I’m happy, but I don’t want to go home.”
.
Chad, who is the 100th star to be eliminated, took the news in typically good humor, with a smile. “This was awesome,” he said. “I enjoyed the journey. I met some wonderful people. I got some great criticism that’s only made me stronger, man. In my eyes, I’ve already won.”
And what did the beautiful Ms. Burke have to say?

“Chad is the most humble guy you’ll ever meet,” she said. “The most amazing, soft, gentle man in the world, and I’ve had such an amazing experience with you, thank you.”

The hometown packages had its moments. Maks finally had a chance to clarify if he’s from Russia or from the Ukraine. If that’s been your burning question, the answer is this: He grew up in Ukraine, but was born when it was U.S.S.R. Got that? Shocking revelation from the packages: Cheryl Burke’s parents thought she was deaf as a child, but really she was just painfully shy. Awww.

So, are you tickled with your final three? Talk amongst yourselves in the comments below. And, if you have questions for the final three, the judges, or hosts, post them below and we’ll try to answer them when we attend the finale live in L.A. next week!
