‘DWTS’ Final Four: Another week of Bare Chests!

Fancast:

3 out of the 4 men (Evan, Chad, Maks, but not Derek) go bare chested!

And two perfect scores of 30 in one night!

That’s right, Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough brought in three 10s for their sexy Argentine Tango in the first round, the ballroom round, on tonight’s ‘Dancing with the Stars‘.

And, just when we thought the night would go downhill from there (come on, face it, she is fun to watch), Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya also deliver a perfect score of 30 for their Paso Doble in the Latin round.

Could this whole thing come down to the Pussycat Doll vs. the Olympic skater? Could Evan’s dedication and technique really win over Nicole’s passion and perfectionism?
It has begun to look that way. We could debate Nicole’s professional dancing experience all we want, but the judges don’t seem to care and neither does the voting public, and, frankly, I also love watching her on that dance floor.

HIGHLIGHT
After Nicole and Derek took their perfect turn in the ballroom round, Evan and Anna stayed right behind them with an impressive Foxtrot that Len Goodman called “Absolutely wonderful.” Always more flamboyant, Bruno Tonioli gushed, “You were as high as a kite out there! That vivacity. That vitality. I haven’t seen something like that since Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.”

The pair landed two 10s and a 9, good for second place in ballroom.

SURPRISE OF THE NIGHT
The surprise of the night was that underdogs Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke caught up with Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Both couples scored rock solid 27s for their Waltz and Viennese Waltz, respectively. “Where did you come from?” said Carrie Ann of Chad’s improvement. “New posture, new elegance, neverending movement.”
In the Latin round. Nicole and Derek appeared ever so slightly mortal, emphasis on the word slightly. Their Cha-Cha to Prince’s “Kiss” scored them a 29, the same score as Erin and Maks’ Paso Doble to “You Got the Look.” Len wasn’t digging Erin’s dance so much: “I don’t know what to make of it. I’m a traditionalist. This is a funky monkey type of Paso Doble. I’m confused, really. You’re a talented dancer.”

LOWLIGHT
Chad and Cheryl’s Samba was the low point of the night with just 25 in points.
FUNNIEST MOMENT:
When Bruno accidentally held up his 10 paddle instead of the 9 after Erin and Maks’ Viennese Waltz, co-host Tom Bergeron quipped, “He had a premature paddle.” Good one, Tom!
