“American Idol” recap: Judges underwhelmed by final four – except front-runner Crystal Bowersox

For another week, I was going back and forth from DWTS and American Idol, but 'Dancing' still was more interesting. 20% of last week's Idol result show was more exciting then this! Look for my full season wrap up next week.

Just crown Crystal Bowersox champ already and hope for a better season next year.

The judges justifiably panned Casey James’ nice but sleepy Mrs. Robinson and were not much more impressed with Lee’s Kiss For The Rose or Michael Lynche’s Will You Be There.

On this night of songs from movies, the judge’s lacked some credibility because they could stop joking about the song titles or movies they were from. They were, as Simon would say, “a bit indulgent.”

Annoying.

The only performances I enjoyed were the 2 duets, cause it mask the true embarrassment.

Ellen did have a funny Line after Casey and Michael dueted on Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman. She said: “Yes, as a matter of fact, I have loved a woman.”

That brings us to Crystal who nailed I’m Alright from Caddyshack and restored her front-runner status.

Also, Jaime Foxx Back for 2nd year as mentor? Most of these mentors need mentors. Please!
