OK, where are the male Bisexuals?
When Anna Paquin came out Thursday, she joined a slew of bisexual Hollywood stars. The Frisky lists the top 10:
Lady Gaga: She’s been open about her sexuality, claiming that her affinity for women has made her boyfriends “uncomfortable.”
Drew Barrymore: Considers herself bisexual, but said that being with just a woman wouldn’t be “enough” for her.
Margaret Cho is generally thought to be bisexual, but she considers herself to be “trisexual,” saying, “I am probably more connected to or attracted to transgender people. So, I would be more than bi. To say bisexual is saying that there’s only two kinds of gender. I really like transgenders (laughs). But, when I say that, then people think it’s a joke… I would say bisexuality would be a limiting term.” She just had to one-up everyone. [PR]
Megan Mullally was one of the first actresses to come out as bisexual, in 1999 she said, “I consider myself bisexual, and my philosophy is, everyone innately is. I’ve never had a full-on relationship with a woman, just a couple of what I’d term half-a**ed dalliances, so I haven’t explored it to the degree that I’d like to, but I’ll tell you, I’m open to it. And I don’t have any problem saying that.” I’d be gay for Karen in a heartbeat. [After Ellen]
DH actress Drea de Matteo admit to the occasional girl-on-girl action, “I love men and they’re who I go out with, but every now and then ... well, I can’t say I’ve never been with a woman.” But she’s not willing to settle down at all, “I can’t imagine ever spending more than seven years with someone.” [After Ellen]
