Well then, Zentai, a Japanese import that involves wearing a total-body Lycra suit, is for you. Its converts are passionate, Will Doig writes for the Daily Beast—citing “this feeling of anonymity as one of the lifestyle’s main allures—you’re both a spectacle and somehow invisible at the same time.”

And while a Web search for Zentai will yield plenty of NSFW-ishness, many practitioners say it’s not sexual. But, notes one woman who says the Lyrca is her (and her boyfriend’s) default at-home outfit, “It feels good, especially when you rub up against each other.” But where that couple has bonded over Zentai, that’s not always the case. “A lot of people end up ending relationships over it,” sighs one single follower.
