Los Angeles, CA -- Have you ever dreamed of being in a video or making a change in your life? YouTube and Billboard dance sensation, Broadway veteran and People Magazine “Hottest
Bachelor” Matt Zarley is looking for people to co-star with him in his
new music video, “Change Begins With Me,” the title song from his latest
CD. Zarley has received critical acclaim as an LGBT
artist for more than a decade and his videos have created quite the stir
on various digital outlets. His latest, the controversial
“Trust Me,” has already received approximately 150,000 views on YouTube
in its first month, and in it he asks “Is America ready for an openly
gay president?” His goal for “Change Begins With Me” is to
inspire as many viewers as he has entertained with “Trust Me,” as well
as, last summer’s dance favorite, “WTF.” Written by Zarley, Andy Zulla and Chris Curtis, “Change Begins With Me,”
features the Broadway Inspirational Voices and is Matt’s heartfelt
anthem about making a difference in his own life and, thus hopefully
making a difference in others.
Zarley is currently in pre-production for the “Change Begins With Me” video and he wants you to be a featured co-star. All
you have to do is shoot a short home video of yourself displaying a one
to five word written phrase of what you can do to make yourself a
better person. For example, holding up a sign that says
"I’ll Be More Patient" or write a message on your hand that reads "Smile
More," are the real life changes he wants to share in his latest video. Submissions
should be displayed in the most creative and clever ways -- from text
messages to flash cards; written on your arm, or a sign hanging
somewhere; these are just some of the ways you can use your voice to
make a change. Matt will personally choose up to 25 of the most moving and creative submissions to become a part of his new music video.
To
submit your video, simply film your message (no longer than 10 seconds)
with a home video camera, flip cam, or iPhone and upload to https://mattzarleychange.smartfile.com/ (Login: changevideo, Password: changevideo). Click “Upload” and follow the simple instructions. Submissions will be accepted through June 10th. Just make it heartfelt and inspirational.
Critics alike have embraced Zarley’s “Change Begins with Me” with rave reviews: “A sexy collection of swoon-worthy songs,” (The Advocate); “…our idea of perfect” (Instinct); “Soulful and inspiring” (Out Q on Sirius XM); “Inspirational!” (Washington Blade); and “Emotionally charged!” (Homorazzi). His latest single “Trust Me,” is his fourth consecutive Billboard single and has been racing up the US and UK charts – already is becoming a favorite of DJs on both continents. The
track featured in the music video is by Cahill, one of the hottest
remixers in the business (Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Leona Lewis) and, in
light of President Obama’s recent public support of gay marriage, has
people talking. In 2011 Zarley’s music video, “WTF,”
which received hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and other
online media outlets in 2011 received a similar buzz and, the song spent
last summer on the Billboard dance chart.
