Channing Tatum’s stripper past will be revealed in detail as He’s teaming up with Oscar winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh (Erin Brockovich, Traffic) to make a film based on his experiences as a 19 year old male stripper in Florida called Magic Mike, according to Seattle Gay Scene.
Tatum would play the title character who takes a younger dude under his wing to introduce him to the (hetero, SORRY FOLKS) sex drenched world of male stripping. Said Tatum in the press release:
“This was a wild and pivotal time in my life and I couldn’t be more thrilled to go down the rabbit hole with Steven.”
It’ll be awhile before we see Magic Mike…both Mr. Soderbergh and Mr. Tatum are heavily booked for film projects so it’ll be at least a year. Can't Wait!
