The country singer,whose biggest hits are Single White Female and Shut Up and Drive, came out publicly last year has announced her engagement to LGBT civil right activist Lauren Blitzer. They plan to be married in Connecticut Aug. 20.
Her rep told People: “They met through their youth advocacy work, and say that their passion for Scrabble holds them together.”
