Jimmy Buffett was rushed to the hospital with a head injury after falling off the stage at his final Sydney concert last night, Australia’s Daily Telegraph reports. One audience member tells TMZ a flashing light may have caused Buffett to fall as he walked along the edge of the stage; another says it looked like Buffett was trying to jump from the stage to shake hands. His head apparently struck metal, leaving a large gash, and witnesses say he was unconscious for five to 10 minutes.
“It looked like he did a massive face plant after his encore and pretty much didn't get up,” another audience member tells the Telegraph. He is reportedly in stable condition, but still at the hospital.
