Lindsay Lohan left her southern California jail cell shortly after midnight early this morning and was to head to rehab with mom Dina. Los Angeles Superior Court Marsha Revel ordered that Lohan report to a treatment facility within 24 hours rather than allow her time to unwind first. She was whisked out a back entrance, conveniently avoiding the dozens of photographers waiting out front. "We had to comply with the wishes of the court, and safety and security were the paramount concerns. It wasn't special treatment," said the sheriff's spokesman.
Lohan spent just 14 days behind bars even though she was sentenced to 90 days in jail for probation violations on two DUI arrests. She is to be in a court-ordered rehab program for three months, reports the AP. Early reports said she would be checking into Morningside Recovery in Orange County, but other sources said the 24-year-old actress would instead head to UCLA Medical Center for counseling for substance abuse and emotional issues, reports E! Online. Click here for the lowdown on what she's addicted to...according to TMZ.
