CULTURE: Women (and Men) Like Abs Best, Say 50% of Men

Want to get inside the mind of a man? Easy: Just check out the results of AskMen.com’s 2010 Great Male Survey, which more than 100,000 responded to:

•Beer: Is the ultimate man’s drink, according to 38% of respondents.


•Abs: Are what women care about most, according to 50% of respondents (but, AskMen.com notes, those respondents are wrong, Men like men with abs!).


•Prenups: Are only “very important” to 9% of respondents.


•Getting fat: Would get a woman dumped by 46% of respondents.

•Sex: Should happen “multiple times a week” in a healthy relationship, according to 77% of respondents. Only 10% want it every day.


•Threesomes: Are fantasized about by 34% of respondents, but only 14% have actually engaged in one.


•Cooking at home: Is practiced and enjoyed by 64% of respondents.


•Crying: Is OK, as long as it’s in response to a tragedy, say 40% of respondents.


•Having a family: Is the ultimate status symbol for a man, according to 36% of respondents.
