(SOAP Q) HUNK of the WEEK: Sonny!

Jackson "Sonny" Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is the son of supercouple Justin Kiriakis and Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis. Sonny is the show's first full-time gay character, which caused a lot of publicity surrounding his casting. Smith said of his character, "He is the center of attention kind of guy but in a good way. He’s very confident and mature, he’s traveled the world and is very open-minded. I’m very excited to portray him.” 

Sonny's on-screen love has yet to be determined. He said, "I’m going to be surprised. There are a lot of guys on the show, so it’s going to be interesting to see who I end up falling for. Someone new? Someone on the show? We all make jokes, `who am I going to make out with first?’ It’s going to be fun to see.” In the show it has been noted that he has told Lucas that his feelings for Will go past friendship possibly hinting a future relationship with Will. But he seems willing to wait for Will because he dosen't think Will is ready to be in a relationship. In this scene Lucas also gives his approvement of Sonny's feelings for Will. Last week, Sonny Kissed Will, and gets rejected. Later Will catches Sonny in a compromising position with a male friend and goes and sleeps with ex, Gabi! Sonny's tormentor, T comes back to town and bashes Sonny. This week, Sonny fought back and Kicked Ass. Will Sonny get Will in the end? STAY TUNED!
