Last January, Jinkx Monsoon (the Talent of Jerick Hoffer) after competing on season 5 of Rupaul's Drag race, but before the Win, Hoffer wowed an Audience in Balagan Theater/STG Presents production of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" at Seattle's Moore Theater. This week, Jinkx returns and is better than ever.
This time she uses more improve and practically creates a new persona as Hedwig.

Hoffer as Hedwig is Still Phenomenal and Multidimensional as he Plays multiple roles and his singing voice is pitch perfect going from Ballads to a Glam rock star.

As Hedwig recounts her outrageous story (of her Botched SEX change) as the lead singer in a sleazy lounge act, she is backed by her compatriot, Yitzhak (Erin Stewart) and her rock-and-roll band, "The Angry Inch," featuring members of Seattle bands The Walkabouts, 1uppers, Zony Mash, and Swallow.

Hedwig is directed by Ian Bell, renowned local actor (recently reviewed in SRT's 'Inspecting Carol'), director, and creator of Seattle Confidential (ACT Central Heating Lab) and The Brown Derby Series (Re-bar). Bell spent 10 years as Artistic Director of theatre group Bald Faced Lie and four years as Producing Director for Re-bar.

Towards the end, Hoffer sheds the wig and dress and reveals his true self and resembles a red-headed, Shirtless Johnny Weir Type.  This was still the most dramatic turn of where you see the raw talent of Hoffer on stage going from to Hedwig to full blown Tommy, even rubbing a Tomato on his face during the transformation.

After multiple standing ovations curtain call, Hoffer, stunned the full house by giving a Big Check of $10,000 to the Fred Hutch HIV Vaccine Trail Unit.

Hedwig at the Moore Theater (Through 12/22) is a Must-see. Click Here for more Info.
