(CLASSIC MOMENTS) 30 days of GH-#12!

In 3 Years, Jason will have more then just Jagger's abs!
General Hospital Turns 50 in 12 Days, and we will be counting down with the Greatest moments in TV History. Today (From 1992 to 2012) After a storm, Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton), Jagger (Antonia Sabato Jr) and Karen (Cari Shayne) were stranded on an island. On the island, they encountered Cal Atkins and his convict brother, Joseph Atkins, who had broken out of jail. Cal dragged Karen to the top of a cliff and tried to rape her. Jagger saved her. Jason got there in time to see Cal plummet to the shore below! Convinced that Cal was dead, the teens made a pact to keep what had happened a secret. Cal was actually alive and well with his brother. Back home, a shoot-out occurred. Jagger suffered a minor wound. Cal was arrested.

Teenager Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcel) turned up on her big sister Julia's doorstep. Julia persuaded Brenda to move in with her and enroll in Port Charles High. Jagger Cates also enrolled at PC High. Brenda was instantly attracted to him. She could tell he liked Karen, who Brenda instantly disliked. Neither Jagger nor Brenda liked school. But Jagger liked Brenda's style and they fell into each other's arms and made love. For good reason, Brenda Barrett was insecure about her relationship with Jagger Cates. Jagger and Karen had fallen in love. Karen began having disturbing flashbacks. An old boyfriend of Karen's mother, Rhonda, came to stay with her and Karen. Soon after seeing her mother's old boyfriend Ray Conway, long repressed memories flooded back to Karen because he had abused her when she was a child!
At a wild party, someone slipped "ecstasy" into Karen's drink. A kid named Stone (Michael Sutton) came to her aid. He turned out to be Jagger's brother, Mike. Karen felt unworthy of Jagger, who had started to box with Marco Dane as his manager. She broke up with Jagger who was comforted by Brenda Barrett. A troubled Karen went to work as a stripper at the Paradise Lounge, run by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Stone lived in Sonny's apartment above the club. Soon, Karen was addicted to stripping, Sonny, and pills! Karen kept her new life a secret while she worked at Kelly's and the hospital and went to class at Port Charles University. Jagger and "Stone" were reunited.
Jagger followed Stone to the Paradise Lounge. He saw Karen stripping! Later, a stunned Jagger found Karen in bed with Sonny and beat Sonny up. Sonny put a hit out on Jagger. Marco promised Sonny a piece of Jagger's boxing action in exchange for Jagger's life. Sonny liked the idea of "owning" Jagger and agreed. Slipping into the strip joint, Brenda's eyes popped when she saw a drugged-out Karen taking her clothes off. Brenda saw it all, and told everyone. Karen's friends and family rallied around her during her recovery. In his next fight, Jagger refused to follow Sonny's orders to take a dive. Jagger and Karen ran away and finally made love.

One Last shot, this group will never be this close again!
Jagger recuperated from a motorcycle spill in time to marry Karen in a touching wedding ceremony. It was a day filled with love—and surprises. Karen's mother revealed to Karen that Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) was her father. Karen, overjoyed by the news, happily hopped on the back of her new husband's motorcycle and sped off to a new life in San Francisco, where Karen would attend medical school to become a doctor and Jagger would become a police officer.
In December 1995, an intoxicated A.J. (Sean Kanan) runs his car into a tree. Jason, who was attempting to stop A.J. from driving, is in the passenger seat and hits his head on a large boulder after being ejected from the car. Jason suffers brain injuries that result in total memory loss. Upon waking up from his coma, Jason has no recollection of his past and resents all the Quartermaines except his grandmother and Emily. His personality drastically changes as well, from kind hearted and affable to cold and calculating. Jason eventually turns his back on his family, and changes his surname to Morgan Lila's maiden name.
He asks Sonny Corinthos for a job, and his loyalty and hard work impress Sonny. Jason becomes Sonny's personal enforcer in his mob business. Jason also begins to date Robin Scorpio. Because Robin is HIV-positive, Jason begins to sleep with Carly Roberts (Sarah Brown), but Jason and Carly decide to just be friends.
To help Carly, Jason pretends to be the father of her baby. After the baby's birth, Carly develops postpartum depression and leaves town. As Carly works to recover from her postpartum depression and bond with Michael, Dr. Tony Jones (Brad Maule) plots to take Michael. He kidnaps the child and when Robin finds proof of Dr. Jones' perfidy, he takes her hostage as well. Jason eventually rescues them both. However at trial, Dr. Jones is released due to a plea bargain. Carly reacts by shooting him in a moment of temporary insanity. Carly is remanded to a mental facility for evaluation pending trial.
Jason later comforts Elizabeth Webber (Liz Herbst) over the supposed death of her boyfriend, Lucky Spencer. Carly misunderstands their relationship and sleeps with Sonny. Jason is unable to deal with the betrayal of Sonny and Carly, and leaves town.
Jason took his Brother's Wife and Sonny's Sis!
Jason is forced to protect Sonny's sister, Courtney Matthews (Alicia Willis), when she is being stalked by A. J. Quartermaine. Jason and Courtney begin a relationship and keep it secret.
Eventually, she and Jason marry in France, but due to the mob lifestyle, they eventually divorce. Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are arrested for aiding and abetting Sonny. Jason discovers that Sonny and Sam are having an affair. Sonny and Carly reconcile, but Jason discovers that Sam is pregnant with Sonny's child. She plans on leaving town, but Jason convinces her to stay, and pretends to be the father of Sam's baby. Over time, Jason and Sam start to trust and care for each other. Sonny and Sam's daughter is stillborn and Jason helps Sam cope with the loss. Jason and Sam eventually fall in love, but Jason decides it would be best if they do not pursue a relationship, worried that she would fear his work as an enforcer.
Jason and Liz were just not to be!
Jason and Sam later discover that Sam's mother is Alexis Davis. When Sam is shot and almost dies, Alexis guilts Jason into breaking up with Sam for her own safety. After months of trying to win him back and not succeeding, Sam sleeps with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst)  and Jason witnesses the incident. Jason goes home to drown his sorrows in alcohol and Elizabeth shows up. Jason and Elizabeth sleep together, which results in a pregnancy.
Elizabeth claims Lucky is the father but later tells Jason the truth and they continue to maintain the lie. Jason's estranged father Alan dies in early 2007 during the Metro Court hostage crisis, just as they are beginning to rebuild their relationship. Jason regrets all the years he pushed his father away. Elizabeth gives birth to a son, Jacob Martin Spencer, in May 2007. Sam watches and says nothing when she sees the baby being kidnapped. Jason and Sam's relationship ends, and Jason recovers his son with the help of Amelia Joffe. Jason reveals Jake's paternity to Lucky himself at the Black and White Ball, where his sister, Emily is killed. When Michael is shot in the head by Ian Devlin, who was targeting Sonny, Jason ends his relationship with Elizabeth. Jake is saved by Sam after he is kidnapped by the Russian mob. Jason denies Sonny access to the organization when he wants it back. In order to regain his power, Sonny becomes head of the Zacchara organization by marrying Claudia Zacchara  (Sarah Brown).
Jason suspects that Claudia is responsible for Michael's shooting. In May 2009, his nephew Michael Corinthos (Drew Garrett) wakes up from his year-long coma, but due to brain damage he is now an aggressive 17-year-old. Jason resumes a friendship with Sam, who has partnered with Spinelli in her quest to start a private investigation firm. She lends him an ear and helps him figure out what to do about Claudia and Michael. Sam and Jason remain drawn to each other and start a relationship. Jason and Sam find the proof they need to confirm Claudia's involvement in Michael's shooting. Claudia is brought down in front of Port Charles by Sonny for getting Michael shot.

A Seduction or Brotherly Love?
Sam, Lulu, and Carly are taken by the crazed artist Franco (James Franco), but are saved.
During this time, Sonny is put on trial for Claudia's murder. The cover-up is blown when Dante Falconeri discovers the truth and tells the court what really happened. Michael is given the particularly harsh sentence of two-to-five years in prison. To protect Michael, Jason makes a deal with Claire and is sent to prison, as well. Dante, Claire, and Jax convince the judge to release Michael on parole. Jason is forced to remain.
Franco returns to Port Charles to resume his feud with Jason. Jason makes a deal with Dante and Claire and is temporarily released to draw Franco out of hiding. Jason and Dante go to L.A. to find Franco, who fakes his death. Jason is permanently released on a technicality after Claire discovers a loophole in his plea bargain.

Jason's son, Jake, gets hit by a car. Jake is rushed to the hospital, but dies on the operating table. Jason realizes that he never wants to part with Sam and proposes to her, and she accepts. Jason has an accident and it is determined that a piece of AJ's dashboard was lodged in his brain. Jason has surgery and retains all his memories, but still stays Jason Morgan. Sam and Jason marry in a garden of a Chinese restaurant in the Asian Quarter. The two go on a romantic honeymoon in Hawaii but are interrupted by Carly & Shawn, telling them that Franco is back. On their last night, Sam and Jason are drugged by Franco. He locks Jason in a room and forces him to watch as he apparently rapes Sam. They return to Port Charles and Jason begins losing his temper and searching for Franco. Jason eventually kills Franco but when he returns home, Sam tells him she's pregnant. They have a paternity test done and Dr. Kelly Lee confirms that the baby Sam is carrying is Jason's child.

Robin informs Jason that his outbursts are caused by cerebral edema as a result of the surgery. Robin develops a medication to save Jason's life. When Jason starts to recover, he and Sam decide to figure out what the DVD meant that Franco left. The search takes Sam to Heather Webber (Robin Matson), who tells Sam that Franco is Jason's fraternal twin brother. Sam runs another DNA test and is devastated when it says Franco is the father. She tells Jason and he has a hard time accepting the news, and they separate. Jason realizes that he can love and accept the baby as his own, and goes to the motel where Sam is staying to tell her, unaware that she has given birth to a boy that she names Jason Morgan Jr. Sam leaves the motel with the baby to look for help, and after placing the baby somewhere safe, she passes out. Jason finds Sam and a dead baby and is forced to tell her that her child has died. They are unaware, however, that Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) and Heather switched Sam's son with the late newborn son of Téa Delgado. It is later discovered that Heather switched the paternity results and in reality, the baby is Jason's biological son. Jason tries to comfort Sam over her loss and make things right between them.
Jason would be 'Dead' within Hours.
Jason talks to Steve and lets him know that Téa's baby is Sam's, and that his mother has kidnapped him. They follow Heather, cornering her on the roof. Eventually, Heather is trapped when the police arrive and surround the building. Heather becomes unhinged and jumps off the roof. However, Jason saves the baby, and he & Sam are reunited with their son. In the hospital, they rename the baby Daniel Edward Morgan. Jason is called by his accountant Bernie to Pier 52 to handle a situation, unaware that he has interfered with plans made by Cesar Faison (who had been posing as Duke Lavery). He shoots Joe Scully Jr., who is about to finish off Bernie, but is later shot by Faison and attempts to fight for his life. When Jason suddenly stops moving, Faison kicks him down in the water, and he is presumed dead. Not long after he disappears, Sam finds out Jason is Danny's biological father. Is Jason Really Dead? STAY TUNED!
