Join Alan as he completes the 6,000-mile Into the Light Walk in Washington, DC on February 23, 2013.
The walk will conclude near the National Mall and will include a press conference followed by a vigil remembering the countless numbers of people who have been murdered or who have taken their own lives due to hate based on their perceived or actual gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. Following the vigil, participants are invited to a nearby location for a post-walk celebration.
Specific press conference/vigil location, press release, and post-walk celebration details will be disseminated soon. Feel free to start spreading the word now though to individuals and news outlets whom you feel may want to attend or cover this event.
For those who would like to walk the final miles with Alan into Washington DC or help organize this event, please email your intention to info@intothelightwalk.com.
Please Donate to help Alan reach his goal.
